An absolutely lovely gallery with beautiful works of art. It is dog friendly and friendly in every other way. Make sure you pop in on your next wander about St Andrews!

Have visited Brad (Umlungu) at his studio a few times now, the first by chance a few years back and made a few purchases! What a brilliant experience and beautiful and enchanting setting to see his wonderful art. If you are in Kingsbarns when his home gallery is open, or just passing through, pop in for a warm welcome and visual treat! Highly recommended!

Nice local food options from scones to meat pies to local cheeses and chocolates. It was a pleasant way to spend a Saturday morning in St Andrews. Set on Market St, which was closed off to cars for the street fair. Currently is only put on the first Saturday of each month.

A wonderful little market! The quality of the products is fantastic, and it's great to support local businesses. If you are looking for authentic Scottish made products, this is the place to go! Everyone is very nice and the items are reasonably priced. I'll definitely visit again.

I stumbled into this art gallery quite by chance when visiting St Andrews last weekend. It was a freezing cold day but the gallery was warm and welcoming. The lady I spoke with was knowledgeable and we had a great conversation about art through the years. They seem to specialize in Contemporary art and there was a great diverse mix of styles and paintings on exhibit. I would recommend this gallery to anyone visiting St Andrews and looking to acquire art work at very reasonable prices.

Lovely visit and help in finding the heather honey I was looking for as a gift for a friend. Friendly service and conversation and an interest in me as a visitor. I didn’t have much to buy but would love doing business here any day of the week and glad I stopped in. Good layout and a wide variety of items to consider.

I always visit here when in St. Andrews. It’s bigger than the last time I was here so there’s a bit more breathing room but it’s maintained that tardis magic of nooks and catacombs! The glorious variety and selection of books aside, it is such a welcoming place. A good downpour outside kept us indoors for a while. One of the many friendly members of staff offered tea and coffee (with refills if required) whilst we sat by a fire and had a very enjoyable chat with others equally seeking shelter. Take time to sit and relax and enjoy the peace of being surrounded by books and reading an unplanned find. This place is wonderful.

Artery in St Andrews is such a beautiful shop. So many different, hand crafted, individual pieces there’s so much to see. Also lovely candles and jewellery. We are big fans of Robert Ryan artwork and have been visiting Artery for many years now to see his collection. We’ve just bought our ninth piece from the shop and the Artery team are always so friendly and helpful. It’s great to hear the stories behind all the different items. If you are visiting St Andrews, visiting the shop is a must. A warm welcome awaits everyone and you won’t be disappointed!

Not sure why the heading indicates this is closed?
We parked nearby and stopped in just based on a signboard in front. It was a nice sunny day and we sat in the courtyard. The service was friendly and helpful. We opted to share the Wild Mushroom soup of the day and a vegetarian panini. Both were good. The soup was a bit bland for our taste. The panini was VERY large and infinitely shareable (thanks to our server's advice!). The bread was fresh and pleasant.

The courtyard is small, but packed with 8 or so tables. The ambiance is OK, nothing special and you do sit among smokers and people with dogs.

As other reviewers have suggested, the prices are NOT cheap. As we walked further into St. Andrews, we passed several other places with cheaper lunches and a bit better atmosphere for outside seating and people watching.

Found this fabulous store by accident. Great selection of merchandise. High quality items. Diane was fabulous. She was like my personal shopper. And she wrapped each item so they make it home safely. Would return in a heartbeat.
