I didn't get to play the course, but just being present was spine tingling to stay the least.
We were able to walk a few holes and had a great look around, what a magnificent place to visit.

Plenty of time to walk around the town and visit the greens for a little putting. We loved trying to search out all the charity Scotties as well.

Great views of the North Sea; tribute to men put to death for religious views from almost 200 years ago.

Easy to find and practically in the middle of town, a great way to spend a few minutes seeing the shell of a 1500s era chapel. Would be even better if there were some additional signs and/or plaques to give you some more history of what is clearly a historic relic.

Disappointed to find the cafe was no longer operating during the antique fair, rumour has it that repairs are needed to this much loved building.

This new wood stands on what was the old Magus Muir . A picturesque woodland walk with a made up path winds it way through the trees . There is an old covenanters Graveyard on the west side of the trees a gravestone with railings marking the men hanged for the murder of the Archbishop Sharp There is a sign with information about it . Further along the trail stand a memorial in the shape of a pyramid marking where the Archbishop Sharp was murdered in 1679 . There are one or two seats on the trail and the woodland is obviously well looked after. A small car park is well signed from the main road
