- Michael F2 contributionsI had a solo tour with Neil and he was fantastic!! I learned so much about Fife history and all the intricacies of the wee dram.
I thoroughly enjoyed my tour and I learned loads about the flavour profiles of whiskey which is why I went.Written 25 January 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. She adapted our drinks to suit our palate as I don’t like tonic, we were given a welcome drink, 3 gins to sample plus as a group we chose a cocktail to make, I would recommend them all. My husband is now converted to gin after this tour. I would Definitely recommend this gin experience tour as it’s interesting & good value for money.Written 7 March 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - DeanMurphy2020Orlando, FL7,767 contributionsIn contemporary golf, ‘fore’ is used as a warning cry to alert other players that an incoming shot may hit them. This attraction was on a guided tour itinerary. A good thing, as I would have missed learning much about the birthplace of golf, Scotland. Even Mary, Queen of Scotland was an avid golfer and introduced the French word, cadet—pronounced ca-day, a young lad who toted the Queen’s golf equipment—which morphed into “caddy.” Good thing, perhaps. We may never have had the film, “Caddy Shack.” There’s a host of golf artifacts and memorabilia, even for those whose only knowledge of golf is the 19th hole☺Written 3 July 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Bailey19 contributionsWonderful experience. I'm a regular visitor to the sauna but attended my first sunrise and sauna. Amazing. So well looked after by Jamie, from beginning to end. She led us through the session and then had some lively snacks and teas for after. We will be back.Written 2 February 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Mark TokeleyCardross, UK28 contributionsAquarium is a bit of a misnomer as there's a surprising amount of non-aquatic animals to see like the Meerkats. Not the biggest aquarium in the world but still plenty to see and if you timed your visit in with the feeding schedule I would think you could spend 2-3 hours there. We were there an hour and that didn't feel rushed. No seals or Marmosets (again with the non aquatic species) when we were there due to the aftermath of the storm but still an enjoyable visit.Written 11 February 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - TrippixieEdinburgh, UK108 contributionsA nice little museum. We had a friendly greeting by the staff upon arrival. My daughter was offered a free backpack to take around with her. She could choose to be an artist or an explorer. The backpack contained a challenge for each gallery and in the artist one some bits and bobs to help and use. It was a really nice idea to get kids more interested in the gallery and what they exhibit.
It was very well laid out and informative. The upstairs had a couple of kid friendly areas, some colouring in, books, and a craft area.
My daughter really enjoyed making a few craft things and the whole experience, as did we. We handed the backpack back to staff at the end, and my daughter was given a little sticker, which she was thrilled for.
I would recommend this little museum for a visit. It's a lovely experienceWritten 16 February 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - rmartinmitchBoston, MA670 contributionsWe had a chance to see a show (Jersey Boy's tribute group) during our recent visit to Scotland. This is a review of the theatre and not the show.
This is a very nice venue in St Andrews. An excellent intimate theatre space with comfortable seating and great amenities. Good lighting and a nice stage area.
Also, an excellent bar area outside of the main stage area.
All in all, a very good experience.
And FYI, the show was very good tooWritten 20 July 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Came with our 3 year old who loved the animal search they have for children. He loved the craft area too. - johnhouston2Knaresborough, UK5,435 contributionsBuilt in the typically dour Scottish style, the church in the centre of St Andrews is historically very important re the Scottish fight to have their Protestant religion recognised, and John Knox preached from the pulpit here.
The church is well kept with a nice exterior but, at the time of our visit, I was unable to gain access to the inside.Written 13 November 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
