- lhallJacksonville, FL17 contributionsI visited St Andrews in July and played the Old Course. It can be difficult to get a tee time for the Old Course as, other than purchasing an expensive Golf Package, all tee time are subject to The Ballot (or lottery drawing). There are ways to improve your odds of getting picked for a tee time, all of which can be found by visiting my web site at budgetgolftriptips.com. You will also find some great recommendations for hotels and restaurants in St Andrews.Written 19 January 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Michael F2 contributionsI had a solo tour with Neil and he was fantastic!! I learned so much about Fife history and all the intricacies of the wee dram.
I thoroughly enjoyed my tour and I learned loads about the flavour profiles of whiskey which is why I went.Written 25 January 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. It’s sad to think of all the bad things that happened here.
This was the finish of a pilgrimage for me and a fitting place to end.Written 16 December 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Audio guide is well worth it. £10 entry for adults (national trust cards not accepted but English Heritage cards are). Toilets and gift shop on site but no cafe. Fascinating history of the castle during the reformation period.Written 8 September 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Catriona M2 contributionsA huge thank you to the team at Craigton Park for all their help with organising the after party of our son's christening. We hired the party tent which was an excellent size for our party of 30 (with plenty of space for the kids to play) nothing was too much trouble for Paul who was incredibly helpful and friendly. The cost to hire the tent was so reasonable and despite the bad weather it was cosy! We had a fantastic time and we could recommend hiring or going to Craigton park more! We really hope to be able to come back soon and for any other gatherings we wouldn't hesitate to hire the tent again!
Thank you so much!Written 10 June 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. So well looked after by Jamie, from beginning to end. She led us through the session and then had some lively snacks and teas for after. We will be back.Written 2 February 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- Juliebelle64Edinburgh, UK26 contributionsFabulous clean beach, ideal for families and dog owners. However, the car park attendant needs to be replaced. He is patronising, entitled, rude and has no social skills. His impatience with drivers parking and leaving the carpark is off the scale. My advice, arrive early, park up and ignore the attendant.Written 17 August 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - rmartinmitchBoston, MA666 contributionsWe had a chance to see a show (Jersey Boy's tribute group) during our recent visit to Scotland. This is a review of the theatre and not the show.
This is a very nice venue in St Andrews. An excellent intimate theatre space with comfortable seating and great amenities. Good lighting and a nice stage area.
Also, an excellent bar area outside of the main stage area.
All in all, a very good experience.
And FYI, the show was very good tooWritten 20 July 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. A lovely spot to reflect or take the family.Written 12 January 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
