What travellers are saying
- EdK59Sevenoaks, UK1,048 contributionsWatched the SPFL Trust Trophy final between Raith Rovers and Queen of the South. Accompanied a friend who travels to watch QoS on many occasions during a season, and this from Sevenoaks, Kent.
Neat, compact little stadium and make damn good Scottish mince pies. Well done to all who made the visit very special - great crowd, good entertainment outside the stadium, great banter and what a noise generated by the merry band of supporters of both competing clubs. Good parking facilities around the stadium.
Well done staff and management at Airdrieonians FC.Written 18 April 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. A great cafe is located on the first floor (lift access available) run by delightful young girl. I sampled her home made soup - yumm!! Decent size portion and tasted super. Such friendly staff, giving directions and advice to me as tourist. They also helped me charge my phone as a visitor from Australia. I was very impressed- thank you 😀Written 23 January 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- James M3 contributionsAs I needed the health suite and went to use the health suite I find out that most of its closed, the place is so bad no wonder places to swim around Scotland are closing as no one is putting in the money needed to support these places but they are expensive enough to useWritten 6 October 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Each side of the cenotaph is decorated with a bronze sculpture of a sword passing through a wreath. The cenotaph sits on a square plinth inscribed with over 700 names, while the upper part of the plinth is written with the dedication. The cenotaph sits on and dominates the junction of Alexander Street, Aitchinson Street and Monkscourt Avenue.Written 17 July 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - macedonboyGlasgow, UK185,662 contributionsThis is a small Celtic cross is a memorial to the men from on a Chapelhall who died fighting in the Second World War. The cross is smooth and without any design which is unusual for a Celtic cross. It sits slightly tapered pedestal and base, with names engraved onto the pedestal in black. This small memorial sits on the grounds of Chapelhall Library. It’s kind of easy to miss because it’s so small when seen from the road, but it’s also easy to find when walking along Woodhall Street.Written 18 July 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
