This is a full day of touring rural Ireland. The trip was an excellent value and was very well organized. Our driver Sergiu safely transported us through scenic and tight turns! Elisa was patient, knowledgeable and clearly enjoys her job. I highly recommend this tour!

Peter and Kasper were great guides and my friend and I absolutely loved this tour! We learned so so much about the history of Ireland, got to learn some cool facts about Dublin’s memorable sights and got to see the beautiful cliffs of moher and the burren. Peter was so entertaining and kept us all engaged the entire 13 hours! I would also highly recommend his walking tour in Galway city because 1.5 hours isn’t enough but getting an overview of some of the memorable sights were really helpful.

Everything about the trip was fantastic! The views to and from our destinations were spectacular. Dave , our driver was knowledgeable and entertaining. I felt safe driving along many narrow roads.

What an amazing trip. I felt like I got the full Ireland experience packed into 8 hours. Our driver and guide John B was everything you could ask for and more in a guide. He was knowledgeable, friendly and an impressive driver on those tiny roads. I can’t say enough of how much I enjoyed Lally Tours and John B. So much - that I booked a different tour with them tomorrow.

This was a seamless trip that included a bus from Galway to the Inisheer ferry pick-up, a ferry to and from Inisheer, a bus ride to the Cliffs of Moher, and ultimately a bus ride back to Galway.

Visiting Inisheer was, without a doubt, my favorite part of this day trip! In just two hours, I was able to have a delicious lunch and rent a bike to cycle around the island — including getting to visit the Plassey shipwreck (featured in the Father Ted opening credits).

The Cliffs of Moher are beautiful, but slightly underwhelming and you don’t need much time there. Fortunately, there was so much more to this day trip than just a trip to the cliffs.

We all really enjoyed our trip with Dave out to the Cliffs, the dolmen, the Burren, and a few other stops. We lucked out with great sunny breezy weather, so that for sure influenced our experience. Dave provided great information about Ireland’s history and contemporary culture as well, with plenty of humor thrown in. I also appreciated the “keep the boomers awake after lunch” music, since a full day of Irish trad music might be a bit much- nice in the pubs though. I wasn’t sure if I’d enjoy being on a loaded bus all day, but with the many breaks, and quality time at the cliffs, plus Dave keeping the flock well shepherded, we had a blast.

The Cliffs of Moher were magnificent, and seeing them from the sea were amazing experience. But I also enjoyed visiting Inisheer island very much - walking up the hill, seeing impressive stone walls and the castle, and feeling the special vibe of this small, but picturesque island. Our tour guide Barry was the best - he told us a lot of interesting information about Ireland's history and about gaelic language, and he took care of everyone. Thanks a lot Barry and smiling and kind driver Fionne!

A great choice to learn more about Ireland, while enjoying the stunning landscape (even on rainy days).
The bus was clean and comfortable, the tour guide (Barry) a great entertainer, who possed a lot of knowledge.
We are no native english speakers, but it was easy to listen to him during the whole day.
He made sure to answer individual questions as well. It was quite interactive.
Additionally the tour itself was really thought through.
We took a lot of stops, to take pictures, pet some cute sheep or to eat and drink etc.
All in all a wise investment of time during your stay in Galway.

Frank our tour guide was fun, friendly and knowledgeable. He gave us his take on a lot of Irish history and trivia. When we got to the Cliffs, a fog had settled in, but Frank said to go walk the trail as it could burn off just as quickly as it rolled in, and it did! It was a spectacular “reveal” as the fog rolled off and we saw the cliffs!

We have been thoroughly enjoying our
first trip to The Emerald Isle! The
People of Ireland TRULY ARE some of the
kindest we’ve ever met! The best decision
we made in planning our itinerary was
booking a Private Driver tour of Cliffs of Moher w/ Connemara Tours! We cannot praise HUGO enough! He was wonderful to share stories with and VERY knowledgeable on significant history
& facts as related to the areas we visited!
    Such a great personality too.
We highly recommend this tour. Ask for Hugo!
