View the outside and be amazed by some of the wonderful detailing but step inside and be awed by the sheer height and enjoy the wonderful stained glass windows.
There are also great shops and other historical sights to see in Metz, a great little city.

You can rest on the benches and at the same time you can enjoy the view on the temple, surrounding river and other parts of Metz.

Otherwise, I'm sure the benches and the fountains with a view of the cathedral are lovely, but with the garden added, it's beautiful!
Actually, don't even bother with the shops, just have a drink at the café and admire the incomparable view of the cathedral and Temple Neuf.
