As a child I went to sea world and saw orca whales and I loved it . That was many years ago, I wanted my children to be able to see the orcas too . So we took a trip to marine land to see them.
From a now adult perspective it is very sad to see such magnificent animals in such small tanks , they seemed to be desperate for attention and just kept swimming in circles under a water jet .
As for the dolphins there was one separated in a tank , my son saw something on an info board about him not being very friendly with other dolphins so assumed that is why it was on its own. The tank he was in was very small and there was one of a similar size next to it with two dolphins in. There was 3-4 dolphins in the main pool with people doing the dolphin experience.

The park is pretty average other than the orcas. The environments are not big enough for them and didn’t look clean enough.

We had our bags checked going in and was told that we were not allowed to bring food in - which was annoying as kids love a snack - I’m not sure why as we couldn’t really make heads or tails but it feels money grabbing and that they want you to eat in the restaurant - I’m not certain but this is my perspective.

To be completely honest my children loved seeing the orcas they really enjoyed their day but it is a bit of an eye opener as an adult. I think it is a bit expensive to for an average park that happens to have orcas

I thought it was just the usual museum called "Picasso's Museum", but containing just one or two works by the artist. On the contrary this museum was a really nice surprise with its large and original collection of the artist's works, all in a fabulous context.

Spent a couple of hours exploring the old town which is lovely, especially the narrow streets and alleyways near the cathedral, with little courtyards and tiny houses, many decorated with plants and flowers. Then took a walk along the Promenade Amiral de Grass which runs by the sea from the Musee Picasso (also highly recommended). Great coastal views and more beautiful buildings plus some interesting sculptures.

This is a nice sandy beach. There is a very large public area where you can spread your towel. There are also several organized beach clubs which rent chairs and offer food and beverages.

There are a lot of restaurants on the streety nearby.

I loved the sculpture of Le Nomade in Antibes . It’s really striking .. you can’t miss it as it sits looking out to sea . Just go to Port Vauban and up the steps . Walk along the old city walls and there it is …

The walk to the beach itself is quite long when you are coming from Antibes station and you might be tired before even reaching Milliardaire's bay. The beach itself is rather tiny but gorgeous!
However, it is a stony beach with just pebbles, no real place to sit and there are neither trash bins, nor any place where you can buy a drink or go to the bathroom. So using the bathroom before is recommended, as well as bringing your own snack and drinks!

The lighthouse is accessed via a steep road, there is a reasonable amount of free parking and a little restaurant there too. Entry to the lighthouse is free, you are allocated a 20 minute slot to climb the spiral staircase, enjoy the stunning views and return to ground level by the same staircase. In mid-September it was open Wednesday to Sunday but closed 12:30-13:30 for lunch, so suggest checking opening times before visiting. Definitely worth checking out if you like a bird’s eye view of the area, we spotted a lovely little bay which we visited for lunch afterwards!

But it does have one of the finest views of any of the Antibean beaches. There’s no food so you need to bring your own. Underwater, there is a lot of sea life to look at on the reefs and rocks around, all very gentle and easy viewing/easy swimming. There is a high small child ratio here as it’s such a mini and manageable beach so good for parents looking after small kids. Difficult to get to on foot, the parking is along the road directly behind the beach, climbing the hill.

Interesting castle with nice views to harbourg and sea. You can't go by yourself to fort, but they will collect people to groups to get in. Frenc guidning is offered usually. But I got my pics. Castle is very old and shape is unusual.
Parking area next to sport area is good to use, because it's difficult to find a park from old town and it was free transfer by minibus to town!

This lovely harbor is one of the prettiest areas in Antibes. As you stroll along the harbor, you will see many amazing yachts of all sizes, including some enormous ones. The sea views are awesome as well. Definitely a nice way to spend some free time while in Antibes.
