Bergpark Kassel
From the roses in May, the romantic misty Mornings in autumn to winter with snow and a frozen lake this park is worth a visit in every season.
The park is quite big and hilly and it takes a while to explore, but you will always be rewarded with a great view and great pieces of architecture.
Kurpark Bad Homburg
This is really art of park, variety of old and marked trees, lots of birds, flowers, nice artificial lake with fountain, incredible Thai temple, place for golf, open theater, excellent place!
Beautiful park that is very relaxing to just stroll around and relax or go for a run.
Palmengarten Frankfurt
... tropical plants, next the Alpine house and garden have many beautiful flowers, stand there look around you can see the Frankfurt's modern skyline-height buildings outside the park but without hustle and bustle !
It is also a huge park with plenty of flower gardens, benches, a playground for kids, a lake, where you can rent a paddle boat and get closer to the ducks and swans.
2 Ways to experience it
Edersee Waldeck
The boardwalk at the top was lovely to walk along with lots of park areas to make music, swing, play etc foe children.
I visited in the early afternoon, and parked in the cheap car park.
Couple of park type areas with climbing ropes , but better for the peace , walk tranquillity and discovering what animals you will come to next.
Great walk among nature.
Neroberg Wiesbaden
On top you will find huge park, old colloseum, stunning Russian Ortodox church, historical monument for "komarades" died during the Great War, restaurant and lots of interesting places to relax.
It's a short ride of just a few minutes, and as you exit, you can walk around and look at the WWI memorial, and gaze down the hillside vineyard to the park and the beautiful villas below.

Kurpark Wiesbaden
stunning parklands with great trail for running, good people watching, kids will love the boat rides, ducks and parks - something for everyone.
immediately at the bustling downtown district just behind the old state theatre and the Kurhaus a three mile long park with a wide selection of trees, wide meadows, a creek and several small ponds, one with boatin...
Felsenmeer Lautertal
Felsenmeer is an amazing piece of nature, but don't expect peace and quietness and be prepared for crowds and lots of kids playing and shouting.
Cool place to walk around and enjoy nature and look at some animals!
The park is completely free.
Chinese Garden Frankfurt
A small beautiful park in the city.. Location is great , bottom end of the Bergerstr and across the street from my apartment :-)) well maintained with a kids park and a Chinese garden with a water pound with ducks...
But the garden and adjacent park are both great places for photos, especially in spring, with so much in bloom.
Opel Zoo Kronberg im Taunus
Beautiful zoo, great park to stroll
You will experience a wonderful walk in the nature with the option to see the animals partially very close up in an open area – as I stated in the head-line, a must see.
Tierpark Sababurg Hofgeismar
Wolves, reindeer, lynx, goats that smell like chèvre, sheep, storks and a large kinder park - as well as a pub if you so desire - await your curiosity as you roam through the beautiful forest.
Take your walking shoes as the park - especially if you walk out to the wolves - is pretty big.
What a wonderful surprise that Documenta was happening, and also that we discovered treasures like this park and it's sculptures.
If I lived there, I would be getting a dog, or taking up running, simply to have a reason to spend more time in the park.
Loved going round this zoo which is different from all others, because it looks like a park with the bonus of being a zoo.
The park was very clean and great food choices with plenty of tables and chairs.

Lohrpark Frankfurt
A peaceful and quiet hidden garden-like park with a gorgeous view over the city - with an additional fruit orchard to it.
The park itself is also quite nice and you can find a lot of people having a picnic here (which might be the only negative aspect - it is hard to find a time when you can be there alone).
Easy to reach from the city of Bensheim, you can learn more about the management of the castles in the reason and enjoy a well maintained park .
The park is situated in a small valley so not immediately visible from the road.
Herrngarten Darmstadt
Big park with large alleys and old trees, lake with ducks, green lawns, but also connected to the Schloss garden with its geometrical alleys and ever-changing flowers, herbs, fruit trees and aviary.
The park is within easy walking distance of the central market.
Adlerwarte Niederwald Ruedesheim am Rhein
from the statue I wandered along nature trails through the trees to the chairlift and down to Assmanhausen.
A beautiful monument in a delightful park setting.
Nerotal-anlagen Wiesbaden
Walk up Taunus Strasse and find yourself in this great park on a sunny day.
Kids playing at the park great little secret in Wiesbaden.
This wild park has a beautiful location and it is quite big, excellent for excursions in the fresh air for nature and animal lovers.
Beautiful wild park with a lot to learn about nature living it.
Gunthersburgpark Frankfurt
One of my favorite parks in Frankfurt..
Park Rosenhoehe Darmstadt
It offers beautiful gardens but also some architectural gems (houses in the park...envy...), and you can walk around for hours and enjoy it.
The park is a great place to spend your time.
Beautiful nature escape within the city, with approximate 8000 species of plants, there is something to see for every taste.
Most of the Gießen citizens take a normal walk trough this park.
Feldberg Mountain Schmitten
You can park your car and hike the area then duck inside the traditional German restaurant also offering incredible views of the mountains.
Limited parking space, yet enough places to park near the road, if case.
