Much bigger than it looks from the outside, well worth a visit as it's 300 years older than the Alhambra in Granada. There is a bar towards the top and plenty of shaded seating - take your time and look at all the great views.

This is a fantastic collection of cars. In particular the selection from 20s to 40s is probably the best I have ever seen. And the idea to have a contemporary couture dress with each car is a nice twist. It’s a little bit out of the centre, and you will only spend about an hour here. But if you are happy with that, and you like cars, it’s a must visit.

I love these markets in Southern Europe where you can buy meat, delicacy, fish, bread, fruit, veggies and everything food.
I came early as I went to the supermarket but it did not open until later. Found a baker with bread and then saw this one and went for some fruit. Got some amazing fruit cups, and came back later for some almonds etc.
Would have loved to be in an apartment or something and then be able to shop and go back and make a meal.

This area is either new or newly refurbed, but it has a good selection of restaurants that cover most tastes, and prices. Nice area for a srtroll meal drink, and a good place to see the sun setting over Malaga.

This was a stop on the hop on hop off bus, at the top of a very steep narrow hill, there are also public buses that go up as well. The castle is very nice with an on top of the wall walkway that takes you around, and gives amazing views of the city. At the top in the castle there is also a bar that serves drinks and snacks, under shade and a welcome rest point at the top.
If you go after 2pm on a Sunday only it is free entry..

I love to spend time in art museums, so I prefer to go solo and take my time. This was a great way to get to know Picasso. The art work displayed showed his entire span from early works when he was just learning all the way to the early 1970s before his death. Worth the visit.

We loved everything about this museum. The collection is outstanding and the owner of this lovely old house took us round himself. The tour is advertised as being 1 hour long but ours was longer and we learnt a lot.

Fabulous atmosphere day and night, with a great range of shops and accommodation and services all in close proximity.
For visitors looking for halal food, surprisingly there were some great Turkish and Middle Eastern options as well as a couple of halal burger joints.
The area has beautiful architecture, old buildings and narrow streets full of vendors and restaurants.

Countess and international socialite Carmen Thyssen obviously assembled her impressively deep collection of Spanish art from the mid-19th to early 20th Centuries with an eye to the paintings' purpose. Some of the most interesting were genre paintings that bordered on kitsch -- rosy-cheeked maidens at grilled windows entertaining suitors, peasants dancing at festivals, brawls disrupting taverns. Many of these were executed in 12" X 18" formats so that 19th Century tourists could transport them back to England or America as souvenirs. One whole gallery was devoted to seascapes, several of them large format. The most technically impressive paintings showed interior scenes, such as altar boys in a cathedral, with remarkably rendered silks and brodades.

really wonderful plants. My favorite area was tropical scenery. The cacti were also fascinating. 5.20€ wasn't a bad ticket price at all, the area is big. We spent more than two hours in the area and didn't see everything.

Malaga's city park runs alongside the Paseo del Parque. Apparently it was created at the end of the 19th century and makes use of land reclaimed from the sea. The park contains beautiful exotic tropical flowering trees and shrubs, and is a delight to stroll through. Truly it's an haven of peace running parallel with a bustling city centre. My wife and I enjoyed our stroll around.

We rented an AirBnb about two short blocks from the Santuario de la Victoria. I visited it many times, stopping to pray twice.

It is a bit of a hike on a prepared path to get to the top but it is worth it. The views are great but the castle itself also maintains good structure and history.
