What travellers are saying
- ChrisK3West Yorkshire, UK1,124 contributionsThe market is about 10 - 15 minutes walk away from Palma city.
It’s a great local market selling produce, flowers ,a few holiday nick nacks, meats and a great selection of tapas bars selling a wide selection of delicious food.
We had a great walk round and grabbed a bite to eat at a small very friendly tapas bar called La Vermu Tortilleria.
Russian salad, meat balls, bread and a couple of drinks were great and only about 16 euros’s.
The marke has great clean toilets than can be found on the lower level in the centre of the market.
Well worth going out of your way to visit this market and especially the tapas bar we ate at.Written 11 August 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Had breakfast at a lovely cafe. Market stalls varied with clothing, jewellery, ceramics, leather goods, food, plants and homeward throughout the centre. Beautiful historic town with lots to see and a lovely relaxed warm and friendly atmosphere. Get there early to avoid the bus loads of day tripper tourists on excursions to enjoy the most with the locals having breakfast.Written 3 September 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Abi CLondon, UK5 contributionsFabulous food and fresh fayre - love to just wander or buy. Also more artisan crafts in the square- great to shop around the stalls and also in the shops - east to get the bus in to town if you are at the coastWritten 18 November 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Frank Geisler 🇨đź‡Zurich, Switzerland15,438 contributionsThis was our third visit of the Sineu market.
It is always worth a visit because find anything: food, fruits, cheese, olive oil, clothing, leather wear, toys and so on.
As usual we bought (and negotiated heavily) some nice souvenirs and more.

The selection of goods was a bit better than average though this is not one of the world's bigger markets. It is full of tourists when it is open on Saturdays. Nonetheless the town of Soller is charming and the market is worth a visit.Written 13 July 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Steve MNewport, UK4 contributionsHave visited the market many times over many years!
Great market, would recomend.
Just avoid the Roast Pollo (Chicken) van, he does not like tourists!
Regularly says no chicken left even though lots of locals buy chicken afterwards!
His other scam if you do get served (and chicken is delicious if you do!) Is to cut the whole chicken up and give only the legs and wings and the locals all the breast meat!
Happened twice now, wont be going back, go to the smaller Roast Chicken stall on the market instead!Written 4 August 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
