- Stay401355388675 contributionsLovely visit. We got the bus from Can Pickafort, changing at Alcudia: cheap easy and plenty of services although it's slow going round Alcudia itself, the bus gets full and a bit stuffy until you get off and change. Pollensa was well worth the visit, and the steps were fine: they are shallow and wide, but in full sun,so might not be as nice in July when its several degrees hotter and rammed. You could stop when you wanted, turn and take a photograph of the steps down that didn't look like a packed football terrace. Views at the top are lovely right across towards Formentor. We meandered down through the side streets, zig zagging our way, crossing and re-crossing the steps. This route is pretty and more shaded, so offers an alternative way up on a hot busy day. In the main square at bottom we had a lovely reasonably priced lunch. The olive trees in front of the old church at the bottom of the hill towards the bus stop are amazing.Written 27 October 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Simon WNewcastle upon Tyne, UK10 contributionsGreat walk however it’s treacherous when wet.we got to the beach and then it absolutely poured with rain . The climb back up the hill was extremely slippy. Personally I’d avoid this walk if rain forecast. That being said it was a great adventure but could have easily been a disaster as trainers and slippy mud don’t mix !Written 22 October 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Viviana V3 contributionsAmazing views, cute little town surrounded by mountains and pristine waters in rock beach. Only caveat is the steep sinuous road which is definitely not for the faint of heart that are not used to these type of roads. I wish the Calas in Mallorca had more information about the type of access.Written 26 June 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Joanna4153Derby, UK304 contributionsDone this several times and it is a favourite. Starting in the square in Soller, via Biniaraix, Fornalutz, Bini Bassi back to Soller. Restaurants & Cafes in Fornalutz. Fabulous views throughout. Bit of a plod up the road from Soller, but the views are great when you stop to catch your breath. Only noise is the song of birds and the tinkling of the sheep bells. Keep going up and up. There are small signs for Fornalutz and eventually you will see on on the left pointing down steps. Stick is advisable for the descent.Written 25 February 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

If you have any mobility issues it is unlikely you’ll be able to calm down as it is real rock climbing both up and down. However it is still a nice view from the top of the cove looking at the lighthouse. - OldjackGreater Melbourne, Australia29,404 contributionsJust on the edge of the town of Palma on the cliffs overlooking the bay is an old historic area that can get over-looked. It is the Barrio Es Jonquet, an old fisherman's village with old houses and a number of old windmills. The area is now becoming trendy with many interesting small restaurants and bars and definitely worth a look. You will find the area just west of Parc de sa Feixina and best access is via Carrel de San Magi. Look for the Hotel Cuba on the corner.Written 29 January 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Denise DAgoura Hills, CA871 contributionsVery sweet, old traditional area of Pollenca. Park your car out of the Old Town area and walk in, like most other older Villages in Mallorca. Lovely, calm location with a very good bakery.Written 18 September 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
