- Departure710156Northwich, UK112 contributionsVery worth seeing and would highly recommend for the beauty of the caves and the classical music played live on the lake. The only problem is that I feel they have let too many people in at once and it's very crowded and you are waiting ages for people to catch up so the live music can start. The music was then ruined slightly by crying babies and people insisting on using cameras when they had been told not to multiple times. Not a place for babies, I think there needs to be a lower age restriction and less people allowed in at once.Written 19 September 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Family memberWest Midlands, UK170 contributionsA fabulous trip. Photographs can't capture the wonderful atmosphere of being surrounded by the beautiful textural forms in the cave. I would definitely recommend the visit.
This coves d'Arta tour has a lovely lightshow and orchestral segment, which was superb. The guides were great at explaining the history & age of the cave areas. Offered in several languages on the same tour.
I highly recommend visiting the coves d'Arte with a tour guide.Written 21 September 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The cave tour is very cool, the kids enjoyed it and the musical display at the lake is beautiful. The duration of the tour was just enough for the kids and while there is some steps it wasn't anything arduous, I should mention my wife was also 8 months pregnant at this time and had no issues walking around the caves. Good value too when bundled with Dinosaur Land.Written 24 July 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. We bought the tickets there and it was 12€ per each.
The cave was amazing and we were able to go around the paths by ourselves as long as we wanted. There were quite many steps but not too much. At some points the cave was a bit low so if you suffer from clautrophobia maybe this cave isnt for you :)
Very nice experience and highly recommend if you want to enjoy beautiful caves in peace and not in the croud (like in the Drach caves). There were also a nice looking restaurant if you get hungry.Written 15 April 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Some find it easier (or like the challenge) or doing it from bottom to top, but it is very easy to lose the path out uphill at the top end due to long grass tussocks and many goat-tracks.
This is not a stroll - but a challenging scramble at times over the enormous boulders that have fallen into the Torrent. Take a length of rope and it will help at some of the more challenging bits - and go well shod carrying plenty of water. Follow the paint markings and cairns (piles of stones) to make sure you are on the right track.
It is simply jaw-dropping!
Do not enter the gorge if bad weather is threatened, as you can only get in our out at top or bottom - and the clue of what can happen is in the name (Torrent de Pareis)!Written 23 May 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Its 17euro an adult, with an extra 3euro for a voice guide option, if required. We ambled through the caves, not rushed or very busy at all which we enjoyed. They exceeded our expectations as its a very low key attraction so not sure what to expect. Glad we came and gave the busy Coves del Drac a miss.
The restaurant looks wonderful with a beautiful terrace overlooking the San Miguel valley. We only stopped for drinks here.Written 18 August 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. We hope in the future they will find a solution to keep it open to the public in a civic and organized way.
The excursion is perfect for families who want to enjoy the nature of the island, but not accesible with a baby stroller. The excursion lasts around 1.5hours, and the terrain is more or less plain until the last half an hour. The entrance to the cave is a small corridor that leads to a huge room with a hole on the top. It is really fun to explore the different small caverns inside, and we recommend you to bring a flashlight.Written 15 July 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The top can be windly and you need some good shoes especially if it rains....
The view at the top is really cool :-)Written 7 November 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Don't make a special visit to see them, but if you are in Cala San Vincente then they are worth a visit. It can get very hot as there is no breeze from the sea.Written 17 July 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
