Facility good, shops around good, some workers in shops are very friendly (Some of them are not, but what to do, was visible, we are not from billionaire side of the world)

- insight944Palma de Mallorca, Spain85 contributionsMany tourists won't have a clue about the potential pickpocketing danger they are in when visiting PP so large signs are needed all around the place to warn them of the danger. if visiting PP leave your valuables in your hotel or apartment and don't engage with anyone wanting to stop you. Keep your wits about you and always know where your bag or wallet is. Leave nothing on the floor or table while dining or taking a drink. This is real, be warned and advised.
Example: last weekend a group of friends visiting there were all approached by "spotters" asking them the time and noting the make of the watches exposed. These spotters then relay the information to the pickpockets/muggers and the wearers of desirable watches become "marks" and are duly followed while the criminals look for their opportunity to steal. PP is rife with this and an unsafe place to be with anything valuable and yet we didn't see one sign warning visitors that criminals are active in the area.Written 20 December 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. We took a drive down d from Palmanova about 35 minutes just to see something different from our all inclusive hotel.
Nice bridge and lovely views of houses built into the mountains and a lively port and boats all around.
We only sent 90 minutes as the parking at the car park was was for this amount of time .
Enough to explore and grab a quick drink but you could get lovely food there also.

- Matthew PLondon, UK6,288 contributionsSadly it is just a harbour, nothing special. We rode the tram stopped for 30 mins and left. It was just like Marbella, full of football shirts and full bars.Written 25 September 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - David SMiddlesbrough, UK2,381 contributionsCovers a vast area of Palma's front. Marina Moll Vell is located at the base of the long quay Muelle Viejo. The marina is one of the most popular in Palma thanks to its ability to host substantial boats and yachts. Apparently it also offers the best shelter of all marinas in the area thanks to its strategic location.Written 10 November 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - BarbieMegaTravellerSydney, Australia6,914 contributionsThis marina is nice to stop by and have a look at the many boats docked (see pic), also some offering boat trips from fishing to sight-seeing.
There's many sculptures (see pic) which are interesting all around the marina area and lots of well maintained bench seats to just sit under a shady tree and enjoy the view.Written 22 September 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Bad reception and rude treatment. This is the second time, there will be no return to this place.Written 3 August 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Marina. Across are different name brands restaurants, hotels and cafes and shops are nearly
located. In the city center you can see the amazing cathedral, art galleries, markets and
important squares. Here you will find a lot of boats, from small ones to luxurious yachts. Also,
from this side of the city you will have another perspective over the cathedral
We chosen Sail palma boats. Just sailing enthusiasts, no motor yacht snobs. Love it.Written 7 February 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews. - NelmiSanta Rosa de Calamuchita, Argentina77 contributionsWe walked down to Port Calanova from our hotel. It was a steep hill to climb but well worth it. The port has many beautiful sailboats and a repair yard. This was quite interesting. The sailboats are huge! There is a restaurant on the premises but we did not eat there. If you walk around you will find small beaches and places to sit. There is not a lot to do but if you are a photographer, there are interesting photo opportunities.Written 27 October 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
