- Keswick7bLeeds, UK65 contributionsSmall car park on M12 on right after bridge over Canal Siurana (Gran Canal) when coming from Alcudia. If full then park on nearby street. 1km walk to visitor centre- toilets. No cafe and picnics not allowed.
Four signposted trails of between 11km and 725m. Lots of bird hides. We didn’t see many birds but very calm and tranquil place.Written 9 October 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The small orange and white boat with "Dragon Island" painted on the side caught my eye whilst I was on the Tora beach, Paguera. Having lived in Mallorca for 20 years I had never been over to the protected Natural Park island of Dragonera. Adult ticket was 39 euros (July 2024) and included lunch and sangria or juice. Atalaya II was not a party boat. Clientele were couples/a few families of all ages and nationalities. The boat left the jetty at Tora beach at 10.30am and returned at 4pm. It's advertised as 4.5 hours, but was a comfortable 5.5 hours! Great value. Your photo is taken (with your permission) upon boarding and is presented later, where you can puchase for 5 euros. Over to Santa Ponsa to pick up more pax. 80 pax were onboard (although captain said the max is 140. He was happy with 80!). An hour's cruise to Dragonera Island; a former hide-out of pirate Redbeard before attacking Mallorca. We were given an hour to walk around and see the protected lizards, flora, birds, stone watch tower, small museum, swim in the cove etc. The tiny jetty on Dragonera only has space for one boat at a time, so feels like an exclusive, uncrowded excursion.p Then we anchored off Cala d'Egos for swimming in crystal clear water. Quality snorkels and masks could be hired for 10 euros refundable deposit. Two swim ladders were installed. A delicious lunch was served: salad, Spanish tortilla, tomatoes, bread, sangria/orange juice. 2 toilets onboard. Cruised around Camp de Mar, Cala Llamp, Puerto Andratx, sometimes getting tantalisingly close to the dramatic sheer cliffs! Nice background music played throughout the day. Later a guitar appeared and Captain Juan and his crew sang uplifting Spanish songs!! A fabulous day out! Crew were professional, friendly, jokey and attentive. Look out for the little orange and white boat for "Dragon Island"!!Written 21 July 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Jack17 contributionsA medium intensity hike (eg route 3, approx 10km) will already take you to amazing views (Mallorca’s east coast, distant Menorca, and, depending on the route, Mallorca’s North-West coast). Parking: road from Artà to Ermita de Betlem until you see signs of the Parc (then simply follow the signs).Written 28 June 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - EmmandeyeGlasgow191 contributionsWe made nice visits to the reserve though signposting is poor. We managed to get round most of the trails and hides. Great viewing of lagoons, lots of birds though summer maybe not the best time. Butterflies and dragonflies and so many different plants. Surprisingly peaceful, very enjoyable.

Worth looking carefully at the map before setting off and perhaps using two evenings to visit different parts of the site.Written 10 July 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
