We booked to go to Mogan, and then do a whale/ Dolphin watching sail.
Our first Boat was the linas Xenon X , and it was fully equipped with life jackets above every seat. Our whale/ watching cruise was on the Xenon and what battered old tub it was.
The crew told us to be back at 1 pm for our cruise, but by chance my husband noticed our boat on the other side of the harbour. So we had to get to the other side of the harbour in really hot sun, but we made it, but wished we hadn't bothered. There wasn't a life jacket in sight, no pre- sail talk to tell you where the lifebouys were. We started out to sea and the weather was very dull, then the sea got very choppy, and at one point the boat was rolling from side to side, and the waves were bigger than the ship.
We didn't see one dolphin, in fact the only thing we did see was one flying fish. Kids were screaming, people were being seasick, it was a nightmare!
We didn't realise that there were two different tours out of Puerta Rico, and we wished we had gone on the Lineas Bluebird instead, the crew didn't speak English, and as everyone was English on the boat, it seemed a bit strange that the crew didn't.
We have been all over the world whale and dolphin spotting, but this was by far the worst trip we had ever been on.
They did offer a free return trip, but we couldn't get off that boat quick enough . We didn't even get together boat back from Mogan, we decided to get a taxi.
We had had enough of boats that time.
I think we were just unlucky in the boat choice stakes, but very few took them upon their offer a return sailing!

Absolutely brilliant!!! Very easy to book and a fantastic tour of some of Mallorca's wonders. Our tour guide Carlos was brilliant, very knowledgeable and great fun. We would highly recommend Alcudia sea explorer and can't wait to return next year 👍🏖️⛱️👍

Amazing experience. Being aboard such a wonderful old vessel was really exciting.
Friendly crew added to the experience. And it was so peaceful!

    Highly recommended.

Chose the Dolphin Watch and spent the first hour or so picking up and dropping off other passengers around the coastline. Finally got to see a few dolphins before stopping back at Camp de Mar for a swim then our drop off.
The crew were only interested in selling drinks, which they did a lot of and at 5 euros a time you can imagine how much they take with over 100 passengers in 3 hours.
The boat was over crowded as has been mentioned by previous posters.
The one member of the crew who took it upon himself to give some commentary was less than useless. Perhaps if he did not try to swallow the microphone, people may be able to understand him.
What he apparently said was: The bar is open (several times) and that the white house on top of the rocks belongs to Mr Beeeeen. He means Rowan Atkinson and the new house being built on top of the cliff at Camp de Mar is for Mike Ashley (Sports Direct owner). How true either is I have no idea.
50 euros for the two of us for three hours to mainly stand on a boat is not the best value as far as I am concerned.
Needless to say the crew expect tips and stand at the front as you disembark shaking a jar and blowing a stupid horn.

Lovely trip. 2 hours was loads with our two smaller kids. Submarine viewing area also available. Not much of the explanations were in English so hard to follow however

We booked the trip as there kiosk was by the port and it seemed reasonably priced (38 euros each). We booked for a four trip to Formentor beach (depart at 11:15). When we arrived at the port we waited with others at our dock. After ten minutes we overheard that our boat would be arriving soon, and then we overheard that our boat was in the bay next to where we were standing. The boat didn’t look like the one we booked and it looked a bit disappointing. There was no communication from the ground staff to explain about the delay either. We did a lovely boat trip in Cyprus so this one was disappointing. The boat we got on had seats but it lacked atmosphere and was really slow. It took about 1 hour 30 mins to get to the beach and we had an hour there. This was advertised as an hour but really you need longer as by the time you’re settled you need to leave and get back on the boat. It seemed a long way to go for a beach, where frankly, the ones in Alcudia were much nicer and you didn’t have to walk over rocks to get in the sea. We didn’t really have enough time to get anything to eat due to queues so we were pleased we bought food with us.
We enjoy a boat trip but this wasn’t the best one we’d been on. I’m not sure what other trips (or boats) would have been like but perhaps choose a different one as the beach wasn’t that great - it seemed a long way to go. The boat itself would benefit from some music and better and more comfy lounge seats (or seats with washable padding) as these were like plastic ferry seats.

Great boat trip from Camp De Mar along part of the South coast to Palma, went on a beautiful warm sunny morning. Crew was great, views were amazing and the high speed boat was exhilarating. We managed 4+ hours touring around Palma before gathering for the ride home.
And I guess that’s my only criticism: the final line of small print on the webpage is where you discover the return trip is by bus.
Admittedly it was a very nice bus which got us back to our resort in good time; but it felt like an embarrassing secret….when a number of us asked the boat crew about the return journey they were clearly trying to keep it under wraps, it took some questioning before they admitted we weren’t going back on the boat.
A little disappointed at this as it would have been better (IMO) to be upfront about it.
That said it was a great way to visit Palma without the misery of driving and I’d definitely do it again.

Iveta and Sebastian took us to Marine world today and were so helpful. They helped carry our bags and sort the baby’s pram etc. Went over and above to make us have a great trip. Many thanks to both!

Took a boat trip to lizard island with a swim later. paid around £30 each.
Boat arrived on time plenty of room to sunbathe.
Until it pulled into another pick up point. The boat was then crowded to much.
Team were good, and the bar price's are just the same as the local pubs.
Island was lovely but toilets need up dating.
Trip back was ok, then we pulled into a local bay, with other swimmers and local boats about. Not happy.
Had a way better trip in Turkey...

Simply perfect. Marcos communicates very nicely. Good energy, relaxed and trustworthy. The boat was fine and the trip amazing.
The sea was very calm until 16.30; then the sea became choppy. He made good effort to contacting us that we had to return asap (whatsapp, SMS, calling) but our phones were silent. When we finally came back he said; are you a bit wet eh? 😆 we had one of the best days of our life.
