Lovely hotel great for kids, food nice lenty of choice, wasn't keen on drinking out of the plastic cups but understand why. The rooms are nice however the shower has no hand rail which is needed when disabled and a must for safety and no shelf in shower to put your items. No bedside drawers or any drawers at all in the room. Wardrobe space very poor and no hanging space for long dresses infact not much hanging space at all not sure why the Fridge had to be in Wardrobe. Only 2 of us and struggled with such a small Wardrobe. Only one plug socket in the room.

This is a must see, must do. Everything else in Palma pales in comparison. We arrived on a cruise ship.

A city is a city but this UNESCO countryside is spectacular! But how to see it?

I did so much research on renting vehicles like three wheel cars and the like: most not easily accessible from port.: or taking the train to Sóller ( missed reviews) but decided to rent a car from the airport.

Au contraire! Took a taxi to the airport to rent…(I had gotten my international driving license and bought a map from Amazon, and studied the route…)
BUT: no one said I needed my passport!

Tears! Taxied back to the cruise port but then… I counted the cost of two more $25 taxi rides back and forth and instead… decided to hire a driver: they hang around with signs as you exit the dock.

This guy was SO nice trying to help me get back in the right door back to the ship to retrieve my passport. Nit I turned around and approached him.

And… we hired him. $250 for 3 hours/ we were out 4 1/2 hours and became fast if brief friends. Anass is from Niger, told us his immigrant story, and showed us the most out of the way and beautiful places!
I’ll include his contact in pictures… we went everywhere I planned to go: Soller, beautiful Port of Soller, winding our way to Valldemossa, rated number one place to see ( although full of busses! The Port was better!)

This was SO easy , safe and fun. I couldn’t have navigated all the roads and enjoyed it if I had rented a car.

We cycled from the Port of Pollenca a well know and challenging route. I have always loved cycling but haven’t kept it up to the level I used to be. Not a problem with an electric bike I was able to join my husband and made it to the beach. He continued to the top which I will definitely tackle next time.

Very beautiful place, you need to walk 15 minutes from the free parking, and go down the stairs, but it’s a must see place. Some tips, 1) go in the morning or midday, as the light will better for the photos. 2) After going down by the main path, go up by the left side of the beach, so you will have other views, and you can finish at the road, closer to the parking. I just not recommend to go down using this path, as can be slippery.

We were on a coach tour from Cala Millor and so only had 1½ hours before we had to board a boat. So we had a snack lunch and went along the cliff walk. Lovely views and somewhat envious of the people we saw swimming off the little beach at the entrance/exit to Torrent de Pareis.

Visited the western water park yesterday, unfortunately within the first hour there was a huge lightning storm. Luckily the staff made us feel at ease and prioritised our safety whilst we waited this out. The only small downside related to this is that we found that staff were poor at communicating their plans and whether they were going to close the park.

Thankfully after an hour the weather cleared up. The biggest downfall we had noticed even before the storm was that many of the pool water looked murky green/yellow, which was quite off putting.
Overall we had a good day, there was plenty of rides and we didn’t have to queue long.

We took the public bus line all the way to the end of the Formentor peninsula to see the lighthouse and then stopped here on the way back to Alcudia. We had just the right amount of time to walk along the path to the observation deck and get lots of photos before the next bus. The views are amazing. There is a small souvenir shop with trinkets/magnets and the like + a walk-up cafe for refreshments. There are W.C. (Water closets/toilets) next to the cafe for €0.50 per person. My kids also enjoyed the mountain goats.

Could not recommend this place more. €15 and put 7yr old (120cm) did the pirates course. So kind on arrival, well set up and the course was fantastic. This allowed her to go station 1-7...6 and 7 are challenging but she managed and did the whole course again. Great place. Cheap drinks and snacks and followed by short walk (0.5mile) to Santa ponsa centre. Highly recommended

The beach is welcoming, we met many people traveling from our country, it is amazing. A spectacular atmosphere that makes you want to stay there with your family for months. I recommend this place, we liked it very much. We will also come next year, it is a very cozy and relaxing place.

One of the kids found this place and decided we should go. The way to get there (at least when we were there) was with a bus. It comes all the way from Alcudia but we took it from Formentor beach which we visited before. We also saw people riding bikes there, but it looked pretty hard :-)
The best time to arrive (so it is said) is at the sunset. So take the bus that would get you there just before. The views are amazing and we took many pictures before and during the sunset.
There's a small place expensively selling some mediocre food, so bring your own.

Easy hike, takes a couple of hours (in total) in an easy pace if you park down at Es Verger restaurant (if you hike from down approximately double time).

The road up to Es Verger is really crooked and not in the best condition so be prepared.

There is a bar on top of the hill but definitely bring some water.
Wear good shoes (forget slippers) as the rocks on the upper part can be quite slippery.

Discovered this restaurant while mountainbiking. Liked the view, and tolk the whole family for dinner. Took a taxi, ad it is quite distant from town. Great for a family with very small children, and for a menu with lokal dishes and ingredients.
However in the future bring your pen car, as the taxis are reluctant to drive to Pick you up again, even though the restaurant closes early.

Easy to follow trail that we began from the Tourist Centre in Valldemossa. Intriguing history behind the trail and the archduke who created it. You begin to realize that the landscape and history are completely entwined in Mallorca which makes it all the more interesting.

The road to Sa Calabra is a breathtaking winding road with many 180 degree turns and places where the road narrows to only one car width. Driving it is a nailbiting adventure but well worth it. Especially nice to go at sunset when the buses have all left sa Callabra and negotiating the twisting turning narrow road is much easier. Recommend leaving while it is still light however.

We walked from the Vibra Beverly Playa Hotel in Peguera along the promenade and then along the road through the beautiful resort of Cala Fornells, past beautiful villas to the 5 star hotels at the end. We then took the track behind the Petit Cala Fornells hotel into the woodland. Easy going to start with. Half way up you can turn left to view a small bay but we continued straight on, aiming to reaching Es Camp de Mar. We are 68 and 80 and my husband found the going quite hard in places. Steep incline on rough ground with a choice to visit the tower. We continued on to Camp de Mar down a very steep path which eventually lead via some steps to a road. Head steeply downhill and take some steps to the left to take you to the road down to the resort. Good varied walk. More difficult to do in the opposite direction because of the steep downhill on rough ground. We caught the bus back to Peguera, take the 131 or the 122 every 15 - 30 minutes.

Es Camp de Mar was mostly all closed on 23rd March and there was not much happening. Small resort with steep hills all around so walking anywhere from there is challenging.
