We were very impressed with the beautiful Basilica. We had heard a lot about just how much there was going on throughout the building. We did not feel that it was as overwhelming as we expected. The Nativity façade was beautiful and told the story of Christ's early years and the Passion façade with the more modern statues was very powerful and much more modern than so many other churches where everything seems to be renaissance or medieval. The interior was beautiful and far more simple and moving than I expected. The sunlight through the windows provided a wonderful feel. The staff was very helpful with downloading the audio guide and the guide itself was very helpful. The Sagrada Familia lives up to the hype and is a must see if you are in Barcelona.

So interesting to walk these narrow streets. Had a similar feel to Venice or Rome, in that many views made you feel like you were on a movie set.

This places was at one time a private home designed by the area's top artist. No long lines like the church about 8 blocks away. Visit the roof, it is the most impressive part of the features.

This is a MUST see while visiting, however, the tour guide that we had was HORRIBLE - you are better off using the self guided tour. Also, the seating area that you visit is not easily accessible and those with disabilities will have difficulties trying to reach it and exit it. People who suffer from vertigo may not find this visit pleasant either due to the height and the seats being placed VERY close together.

We spent a wonderful evening in the attic area and on the roof of La Pedrera for a tour and some history followed by an amazing light and sound show. Cava and cookies completed a recommended experience.

My twenty-something son, who is a Messi fan and partial to Barca, thought the museum was great. And I, who think soccer is a beautiful game, thought the museum was great. This was a highlight of our Barcelona visit. The museumwas very well done, with a focus on how the club came into being, great players, and great coaches. The field tour (which included a visit for the press room and visiting team lockers) was also very well done.

I recommend paying the 6 euros extra for the audioguide. It is not necessary for the museum tour -- at least for English speakers, as the placards are equally in Catalan, Spanish, and English. (That said, I enjoyed it for some additional commentary on half of the exhibits.) The audioguide added to the experience for the field tour.

There are outfits that sell personalized tours for a higher price. I don't know how much that could have added to the experience, as long as you get an audioguide. I would save your money and buy tickets directly from the club website.

the centre of Barcelona’s historic city. Well worth a look around and a shop but be careful for pick pockets who pray on the unsuspecting in the busy bustling alleys as people shop. Some great small tapas stalls and wine stalls where you can try the fabulous local seafood and Iberian hams with a glass of wine. Great atmosphere and an incredible array of produce. A great place

Particularly as a contrast to La Sagrada Familia, this extraordinary (and extraordinarily old) Gothic cathedral is really a beautiful place to just go and sit. The soaring interior is plain but, well, soaring and such decorative elements as the doors and the medallions on the ceiling are well worth a look. The original rose window was destroyed in an earthquake but the "new" one that's there dates from the 15th century! It was hot when we were there and we didn't climb the tower but definitely do that if you're there in cooler months.

Even though we had previously visited Barcelona, we had never heard of this place. It too some finding as it wasn’t well sign posted but worth the effort. Surrounded by plenty of beautiful buildings, this group of 7 outstanding, architectural delights glistened in the Barcelona sun. It’s a must and I hope more people discover it and contribute to its upkeep.

The MNAC is set at the foot of Monjuic hill, overlooking the city.
The National museum Palace (as well the majority of the entire area around) was built for Barcelona 1929 World Expo.
The museum palace edifice is huge, built in neo classical style, standing on top of the path and stairway leading down from Placa de Espana, dominating the entire area.
The museum is full of art of all kinds from Romanesque era onwards, with a strong impact of religious art.
Although the entry fee is very reasonable (12 Euros) compared to other Barcelona attractions, you can visit for free every Saturday afternoon after 3 PM (be prepared for some waiting in line).
After the visit, DO have a drink (again with reasonable prices) in an outside cafe at the patio in front of the palace with outstanding views of Barcelona.

This is beautiful cathedral in the Gothic quarter. Its a special place to visit and not expensive to pay to walk inside. Stunning design and architecture, which is amazing and the stained glass windows is something to see. The area outside is vibrant with a lovely atmosphere of street music and food. It's just a short walk from the Rambla too.

Don't miss this!! And it is free! My hotel recommended (Inter Continental) that I go see this and II was not really sure what it was.. so I went and was so surprised how spectacular it was. I'm a big Disney fan and use the large park closing Disney shows. This was on that level and it was spectacular! It was a perfect thing to do on a warm evening. There are many places to sit and at different levels. I walked around during the show for a while and it was fun to se the fountain from different levels. Don't miss this!!

Regal park with a very nice fountain show at night- had a lot of diversity of music for the fountain show- somewhat crowded but recommend you watch the show from the bridge above the escalators.

Absolutely amazing experience! The tickets were only 6€ and I would even gladly pay more. There was so much to see, and a lot of very interactive pieces where you got to thy out a scientific experience. Really educational, but so fun at the same time. They had a lot of interesting animals, and seemed to take good care of them.

A very small house to visit but it’s relaxing and would feel you could sit around the venue and take in the beautiful decoration at leisure. Staff friendly and peaceful atmosphere.
