- luxuryvoyageSwitzerland4,135 contributionsThe park was smaller than I thought, but worth it for the view. The grounds are well-kept and pretty, but not spectacular. A short visit is worthwhile.Written 29 December 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- grommit35Oxford, UK231 contributionsThis is the main road out of Capri which clings to the side of the mountain. It is full of hairpin Bends , shear drops and spectacular views. It is well worth taking the coach along this road if you are not scared of heights!Written 16 July 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - johnstone1968London Colney, UK19 contributionsStunning location, can either walk from Capri along the Krupp path - great going down but need to be fit to walk back up. 3-4 bleach clubs. Cheapest is 30 euros for sunbed and 15 euros for umbrella . Average 35 euros per sun bed. Restaurants and snack bars … bring money and a fair bit of it! Small free beach but rocky and pebbles and gets busy. Beach clubs either small pebble beach or into the sea off the small walkways.
Nice watching the big Yatchs and boats and people coming back and forth to go to the restaurantsWritten 13 July 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. We went on one of the hottest days of the year and the only shaded spot was the stairs near the clock tower. The only benches were in the sun so tourists were sitting on the steps for a break from the heat. Unfortunately the police said this wasn’t allowed and directed people to the benches.Written 5 December 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - luxuryvoyageSwitzerland4,135 contributionsYou can reach Villa Lysis from the Piazzetta in just under 30 minutes on a quiet, pretty footpath. The elegant villa with its park is situated on a hill with breathtaking views. The inside of the villa is rather boring and many rooms are empty, but it is worth a visit for the exterior view of the villa, the arcade and the view. Can easily be combined with a visit to the ruins of Villa Jovis from Roman times.Written 29 December 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Karim MaaroufCairo, Egypt954 contributionsWe went into the cave during a boat tour around the island. The way the light enters the cave gives the lovely green color to the walls of the cave. The color of the water is also very nice. You can also swim here if you come by some of the more private boat tours from Sorrento (and I think from Capri as well).Written 28 October 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Karim MaaroufCairo, Egypt954 contributionsI saw this rock formation from a boat cruise around Capri. Easiest way to see it. You can also hike close to it.Written 28 October 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

The path leading to the villa is paved/tarmac/concrete and is wheelchair (wheel) friendly. Having said that this is a two-thousand year old site, wheels would be very difficult once inside.
A wonderful piece of history with a modest entrance fee and a relaxed atmosphere once inside. Restored in places but most of the structure looks authentically old.
With panoramic views of The Bay of Naples including a fantastic view of Sorrento, if you make the effort you will be rewarded when you get there.Written 14 October 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. We choose Capri Bell Cruise around the island for 30 euros per person.Written 28 May 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Danielle H4 contributionsNice public beach. Kinda crowded sometimes but we still had our own little space. Very rocky, especially in the water. Bring some kind of shoes.Written 24 September 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
