Fabio is a great storyteller, also, he gave us lots of local tips, information, and took us to try the best Sicilian food!
Great communication from all the team (Fabio and Daria), I also had a mobile number, so I was able to call the office when we landed at Catania Airport.

Found out about this sandwich shop from “Lonely planet” Guide book, so glad we did.
There is also a line to order the paninni inside the shop.

Six of us spent a very relaxing lunch overlooking the beach with magnificent view from the terrace; good service, good food and wine, very reasonably priced!
Met a guy at the beach that told us about this place for drinks in the evening so we went in to what seemed like a little specialty foods shop, but with the most beautiful balcony overlooking the sea in the back.

We checked out the shop but we also bought a guided visit to the "Fattojo" (ancient name fo factory) where the first part (the most critical) of the process take place.
Make sure you visit this place and take a tour of their chocolate making.

Domenica's charming shop is tucked into a side street on the island of Ortegia but if you are looking for truly authentic and beautifully made ceramics it is well worth the trouble to find it.
A few minutes stroll from the main shopping streets in Ortigia – a studio and shop where the artist Domenica creates wonderful ceramics.

The second to last shop of the market street, which sells hams, cheeses and the like, also sells very good sandwiches filled with dried cherry tomatoes, fresh mozzarella, salad etc. (yummie).
Some merchandise is pretty flea market predictable-cheap hats and shirts, sunglasses, touristy kitchen towels and aprons, jewelry, pottery, magnets.

This is an amazing pastry shop at the top of a long hill, but worth the climb Thsi shop is famous for their pasticcini, or marzipan creations.
They have a lovely outdoor settting downstairs in the back of the shop where you can relax and enjoy your sweets and an Espresso.

You'll find places dotted throughout this vibrantly chaotic market where you can grab some easy street food, a glass of wine or a cold beer.

This is a huge daily market, open in the mornings, that spills out of the Piazza Carlo Alberto (which is itself one of the biggest squares in the city) into several of the surrounding streets.

Tucked at the back of the shop is a small courtyard with four tables of four and a little deli filled with fresh cheeses and meats.
