The directions were clear but you needed to respond to WhatsApp the night before to confirm you were going, and a bit more variety of fruit might have been nice (plums, cantaloupes) provided), and some actual snorkel gear other than 1 mask would have been nice. Nonetheless it was a great day on the water and seeing the coastline! The guide took care of everything - snacks, drinks, equipment, he also let us play our music, told us some valuable things about Palermo and created a great atmosphere! The boat is very clean, pleasant and beautiful! I will recommend it to everyone, it's worth it!! - Isaac McAllister1 contributionIf we could give it 10 stars we would. We were greeted by Giuliana who was amazing, kind and thoughtful and constantly checked in on us to make sure we were okay. She explained the sites and stops along the way, let us know where we were going and made us feel extremely comfortable. At our first stop we all had a nice chat and both her and the skipper Sergio even came for a nice swim with us in the warm sea too! The food was delicious, the boat clean and modern and we had a couple of drinks too in the sun. Everything was managed so well, their hospitality was great, the food was delicious, and we fully enjoyed our half day tour. It was a great way to see more of Palermo than just walking through the city. Charlie is amazing at planning tours like these, and this Sicily tour is just as great as his other ones (take it from someone who has been on a few other of his tours). I love his tour because I just get to travel stress-free since I know he already has everything taken care of. We started out at Palermo Harbor and visited Mondello and some other locations where we anchored and had a great time, swimming, snorkeling and sunbathing. They provided drinks and great local food like Arancini. I would highly recommend and will be doing this trip again. - Rasma O6 contributionsAvoid!!! We booked and paid for this tour more than month before, the other family who was waiting for this trip as well booked it many months ago. Day before trip we got message with tickets with date, time and meeting point. We and other travellers arrived to meeting point and 30 minutes after departure time we decided to ring this Day tour Sicily. One man answered the phone and told me he has nothing to do with travel company, when I rang him again, he told me that tour is tomorrow not today, and that was a total lies - on our bookings and tickets was today's date. He offered us to change for tomorrow, but we was sure those are another lies. - Rosana R21 contributionsDo not miss this lovely boat tour operator! I CANNOT sing their praises enough. A charming family business with generations-deep Sicilian boaters. We were lucky enough to find them when seeking a boat tour that we could fit in our schedule.
Pros: responsive via WhatsApp, friendly folks who met our goals, like stopping when we wanted, etc. Great value—we felt it was a fair price, a steal actually! Gaetano our captain was outstanding. We leaned into our poor Italian to learn more about the environment, Palermitano culture, and interesting characters in the vicinity.

He was happy to answer my questions about the landscape, and told me all about the boat as well. Mondello is absolutely beautiful for a swim, and a must see from the water (much nicer to swim there from a boat than the beach).
