This is well worth your time. There is someone there to tell you of the significance of the art installation which is both beautiful and highly symbolic. The Tao that is also now housed there is truly an icon. We were very moved by our visit. It is not large so it didn't take long.

This is a museum of religious art. It contains many beautiful frescos and oils rescued from other locations. Most the art is well documents with information as to origin, artist if known, and date, in English.

It is housed in a Palazzo which in itself is worth the visit. The library is also interesting.

It is part of a combined ticket that also allows entry to Museo e Foro Romano and Rocca Maggiore.

This underground area is a treasure of early Roman and medieval history and art. This is a great place to spend an hour or two looking at numerous Roman era remains, the earlier crypt of the church, the sarcophagus of St. Rufino and frescos and paintings from the 13th century to the 17th century.

This is a small museum which tells a great story of heroism and sarcrifice during WW2. Cooperation between the then bishop and the German commander undoubtably saved the city from Allied bombing. The shop sells a lovely book telling the story in great detail ( cost €14). Please buy it.
    Cheap Admission for pensioners.
I recommend a visit to this venue. Unforgettable.

This museum, offered by the Capuchin Friars of Umbria, offers displays showing the history and mission of the Friars in the Amazon. Items displayed, including clothing, instruments, animals, insects, flora and fauna, are from the villages and indigenous peoples of the Amazon. This is a fully multimedia and interactive museum. The docents on hand are very friendly and knowledgeable.

We were touring the Basilica and came across this museum. More lighting is needed on the descriptions. Well worth the time

I came upon B.A.T. by accident and was greeted by the charming Pietro.
It was so easy to find Christmas and Birthday Presents for friends.
The only problem is do I keep the gifts for myself now I'm back home?

This museum is the work of one man, Davide Costantini, and holds more than 1500 items from the 1200’s to present day. Admission is free. Worth stopping and visiting if, you are in the area of Porta Nuova to see what life was like in old Umbria.
