The monastery is beautifully perched on one of the highest rocks with breathtaking views of the othe monasteries all around as well as the valley and river down below.
The largest, with spectacular views and interesting sights within (the ossuary, the chapel), it gets very busy in the midmorning to afternoon as all the tours stop at this one.

Amazing monastry , a must to see in Meteora, the view takes your breath away, Nuns are like angels from heaven !!!
If driving you can either park at the bottom of the hill and walk up to it, or drive to a scenic viewpoint with parking above the monastery and walk down to it - both offer unique views and photo opportunities.
