The Vienna Old Town is a remarkable district with so many outstanding landmarks – museums, galleries, parks, churches, the opera house and the holocaust memorial, to mention just a few, easily accessible on foot.
... Central (the best!) Dinner: Do & Co (fabulous), Hotel Ambassador (top floor terrace dining, delicious, lovely view of a platz and fountain), Hotel Sacher (4+ course, elegant dining with Austrian wine pairing).

Very nice place where you can enjoy one (ore more) unforgettable day with wonderful palace, spacious gardens, fountains, greenhouses with cactuses and exotic plants or amazing view from the top of the hill.
I visited on a beautiful sunny winter's day and the the walk up the hill, the glorious views from the top, the exquisite architecture and of course the hot chocolate on the Cafe Terrace made it a perfect trip.

A wonderful spot to sit and ponder life as you view its beautiful centre altar.
The church was built between 1623 and 1627 on the site of an earlier chapel and was built at the time when the Jesuits were the dominant force behind the Counter-Reformation.

The treasury of the Hapsburg dynasty is beyond impressive--every room is filled with bigger and better sites, centuries of treasures plundered and stashed away by one of the most powerful families in history.
There are so many wonderful sights in Vienna but the Treasury houses some of the most spectacular items I have seen.
