It was a good experience with the guides who explain the history beautifully. They also gave some fish to try from the local fishery .10/10 would recommend

We had the best time on the sailing yacht on a beautiful day in Tromso. Kennet and Sachi are so welcoming and really made the experience amazing for us. We did a polar plunge and Kennet gave us the world’s best pep talk. Would 100% recommend to anyone visiting the area!

Absolutely amazing! Totally worth your time! We got lucky and saw the lights but even if we didn’t, we can tell that the owners of this boat care deeply for their customers and want them to have the best experience. The food was great also and the jacuzzi is amazing. One of the best nights of our lives! Thank you for this experience!

This was an AMAZING trip! Even though I went in January and it was cold, the staff provided us with a suit to go over our clothes and extra gloves...... I was in awe the whole time! We saw more sea eagles than I could count, a salmon farm, as well as Trollfjorden. Our guide was quite knowledgable about the history of this region and described the famous Battle of Trollfjord in 1890 between local fisherman and steam ship operators over the rights to fish. As a history teacher - This was fascinating. I was traveling alone, so I joined a larger group of people traveling together. It was a perfect 2 hours. If you do attend as a group - I recommend splitting up between 2 boats bc then you can take photos of your friends inside the boat with the scenary .... and they of you! I would have liked this but managed a decent selfie! Thanks so much for a wonderful day to remember always!

This was very pleasant. The cruise took a circular route so you are able to see Tromso from all directions. The crew was very pleasant and accommodating to passenger requests. Other than fishing, we didn't see any wildlife. It was very relaxing.

Our adult family participated in this luxury fishing trip with very personable Kenneth and Sachi. They were fantastic and the boat was extremely stable, comfortable, and also spotlessly clean. I took Bonine before the trip, but don't think it was necessary as the sailing was very smooth. Kenneth is great and changes locations swiftly if worthy fish aren't being caught. He is also very helpful to anyone who needs assistance with fishing. My adult son had the success of catching a great Codfish. The perk of catching a fish means all the guests on the boat get fresh fish added to their already delicious vegetable soup and bread that Sachi prepares at the end. We were fortunate to have absolutely perfect warm, sunny weather on our trip in July, but my suspicion is that Kenneth and Sachi make the trip wonderful even on a cold, rainy day. My only recommendation that I'd give for improvement is to extend the trip to 4 hours instead of 3. It is so fun that another hour would give a bit more fishing time and also not make the soup eating be so rushed at the end. I consider this a "must do" activity if in the Svolvaer area and you're interested in sailing and fishing. It is quite enjoyable!

My sister and I went on the Arctic Charm to see the Northern Lights. The Arctic Charm was a beautiful 40 foot catamaran. The Captain, Peir, was amazing and hospitable. He handled the boat all by himself. It was a cold November night so he offered us thermal suits to wear so we would stay warm while we were on the deck searching for the Northern Lights. While we were waiting for the Northern Lights, the Captain prepared his famous homemade Fish Soup. It was delicious. The Northern Lights didn't come out until we were heading back in from the trip but we DID get to see them! It was a great experience!

We had an amazing day on the Stella Oceana! Even though the weather wasn’t great, the views were still amazing and Kenneth and Sachi tailored our tour to suit the day. We are already planning our next trip and highly recommend to anyone looking for an adventure on the water!

On Thursday 4th January 2024 we came across Hermes II due to a dilemma caused by another Whale watching Company.
Our 4 day trip to Tromso was for my 40th Birthday and a trip that had been arranged for 18 months with the highlight being Whale watching….
The night before our original trip we went to look at the meeting place in the harbour where we were advised to be at for 8:30am on the Thursday Morning. We arrived early on the day and strangely no boat could be seen…….
We asked around the Harbour and showed the documentation to one particular Boat Captain who was puzzled as the boat for the original company wasn’t there?!
We went to the Hermes II shop where we contacted the original company and it turned out that the information provided was wrong and their Boat had already departed at 8am.
What happened next and throughout that day was incredible and some of the finest customer service we have ever had. Luckily the Captain that we spoke to was the Captain of the Jib for Hermes who allowed us to join them!
The trip overall was outstanding and even if it was alittle more expensive, the experience was exceptional on a VERY quick Boat. Upon arrival to the Whale feeding grounds after 80 minutes travel we were greeted with Fin Whales and Humpback. The crew provided on awesome experience, their knowledge and enthusiasm was infectious which rescued our initial poor start!
On arrival back to the shop at the end of the trip, we were reassured that they had contacted our travel company and the company who let us down and they were dealing with the monies and grievance.
Never have we been so grateful to the guys on the Jib and those in the shop for rescuing our trip!
