I recently visited statue at the end of the pier and it brought back many memories! My friend and I used to visit it every Sunday morning because she had gone with her boyfriend to seal their lock when he came over to visit her. Penelope must've brought them luck as several months later they finally managed to move in together and now have a lovely daughter and are still much in love! She is there as a symbol of love and in her time she would patiently await the sailors' return home. I love strolling along the pier and I think it's a must if you've never been.... it will give you memories to keep forever!

walking along the sea you will enjoy the view, fresh air, the seal gulls and boats. No bars open in winter time, but it's a busy touristic place in summer

Open only from 9:30 - 11:30 mornings and afternoon on Sunday. We missed seeing it a couple of times before we found the hours. Locals told us it was beautiful and it is. In need of restoration, but still well worth a visit.

Wonderful square and stunning fountain! I found it very interesting and especially the fact that unlike the most of fountains in main squares of Italian towns it’s not located in the center, but rather on the side.
