Lots of people, lots of fun. The water is clear and warm. My daughter and I walked for about a mile along this beach. Lido after lido is available for chairs/umbrellas and food. The only drawback is finding a parking spot. Get there early, lots of rude selfish drivers. I would not recommend trying to walk from the little town of Vasto down to these beaches.

The historic town is kept very clean. It has a museum, palazzo we did not have time to visit now. The most wonderful of the town is the view, Adriatic Sea and the bay.

What else do you need besides an overwhelming view, friendly staff, a fine house wine, and all this on a romantic summer evening? Food. And fantstic food you get: "Emozioni & Sapori", run by Rosina and Giorgio, offers all of it. Try ALTA MAREA, FRITTURA DI CALAMARE E CALMARETTI, FILETTO DI OMBRINA E PISTACCHI AND TIRAMISU and you will feel like in italian paradise.

There is a 1 km paved road from the parking area to the lookout and beach. There is a steep incline at the end but not a problem unless you need an assistive walking device. The views are spectacular. We also saw some wild boar but could not get a phpto because it was after sunset.

Piazza Rossetti is the heart of Vasto's centre. it has an incredible charm and on August 16th the Festa di Dan Rocco is celebrated in this square. i truly reccomend a visit of this town if u r in the neighbourhood.

Good fun. Well maintained and organised.
Plenty more sun beds since last visit- which is a great improvement.
We’ve been a few times now and it is probably time for a new slide but overall pretty good day out
