- 30Annemarie16Maidstone, UK264 contributionsWe sort this area out after seeing a recommendation on TripAdvisor. It was a great find and a good way to pass a very pleasant half hour in the sun. Just off the main promenade tucked away in a couple of side streets.Written 26 August 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Dave PulsNottingham, UK2,189 contributionsThis is an unusual museum, with just glass cases and tens of thousands of shells from all around the world. We all enjoyed the variety and many shells we had never seen before. It's in a good location for a walk along the harbour and beach afterwards.Written 16 August 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Dutch-MikeyLe Havre, France1,148 contributionsThe area is just on the water, with fortifications and views of the city, beaches and lighthouses. And weather permitting, enormous waves crashing into the shore and lighthouse.
The church is quite big and built to last, and nice to visit.Written 26 February 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. A great place to top up your tan whilst looking for sea critters. All the kids loved it and want to go back again. The beach has sandy areas and is popular with surfers.
