We sort this area out after seeing a recommendation on TripAdvisor. It was a great find and a good way to pass a very pleasant half hour in the sun. Just off the main promenade tucked away in a couple of side streets.

This is an unusual museum, with just glass cases and tens of thousands of shells from all around the world. We all enjoyed the variety and many shells we had never seen before. It's in a good location for a walk along the harbour and beach afterwards.

Every day of our three day visit we walked this promenade, often just for people watching., but also for refreshments.

Amazing continuation of the plage de la Paracou, a lot of waves and it was very windy that day.. Quite isolated and wild nature!! Beautiful !! Parking was quite easy.

Great environmentally efficient service. All day long ferry trips across from one side of the harbour to the other. Very cost effective.

Stunning sandy and rocky beach leading to Plage de Sauveterre, it was very windy when we were there.

Big waves at high tides, certainly worth stopping by and it is quite close to the town. Parking is quite easy. Careful if with young children though

The area is just on the water, with fortifications and views of the city, beaches and lighthouses. And weather permitting, enormous waves crashing into the shore and lighthouse.

The church is quite big and built to last, and nice to visit.

This was a massive success with our four boys from 14 down to 5. A great place to top up your tan whilst looking for sea critters. All the kids loved it and want to go back again. The beach has sandy areas and is popular with surfers. Parking close by is free.
