    Stunning oasis of calm
    Could wander round here all day. Beautifully landscaped and tranquil. Quite steep but the climb to the top is well worth it to find the ruins of a medieval castle. If you love greenery, moss and tempting little stone paths then you’ll be in heaven here.

    Great walk- outstanding view
    This is a great shortish walk. It doesn’t require fitness or poles- but the view at the lookout is as good as if you’ve hiked for days.

    Off-piste pleasure.
    Wonderful experience after an off-piste run down. Dragged on skis behind a skidoo to a fabulous little country restaurant, where we were served a marvellous meal. After we had eaten, we were taken by piste-basher to the lift, which was opened up for us. A great day.

    Serene and full of light
    A beautifully light old church in the heart of Samoëns. The gentle chanting music you hear as you walk round is very atmospheric.

    Give it a try, this place is amazing!
    I could not recommend this place more, having had so many good times there (alone, with friends or with family). The coffee is delicious and yes, you can finally find a place in the valley that does a delicious and proper almond flat-white!. Everything is very affordable and good quality. Popcorn vintage is surely one of the most friendly places in Samoens, and everybody who works there is very professional and welcoming (no matter who you are/where you come from, you’ll feel HOME). Perfect place to start the day around a good quality coffee, to meet friends for brunch, or to enjoy a few drinks in the afternoon/evening.
