Beautiful river but the show is those being baptised and how special it is for them. It's very humble to watch. Massive shop unsurprisingly.

The park was full, despite being an off season school day, but the trail was pretty quiet. Wonderful cold, clear water, no higher than our necks, so we did the entire water trail with no problem. Lots of room to swim and chill in the water.
Not expensive, well worth it. While C-19 regulations last, one must pre-register on the website before visiting.

That is the translation of the name, A 5-6 generation of farmers that help turn the valley from wasteland to a lovely store on goods grown on the farm - Primarily from Dates and all their derivative. Taste the REAL Honey from the Land of Milk and Honey - The Silan, and see a movie about the family history intertwined into the history of pioneering and early settlement in the barren land.

This is a beautiful place to take a glimpse of the sea of Galilee from its southernmost point.
This time around, after a very rainy winter, the water level rose almost 25 meters from the last time we've been here a couple of years back, and it shows, as the water now covers most of the vegetation and creates a gorgeous scene.
It's the perfect spot for a sunrise and sunset, too.

We always drive this side of the Lake to stop there
This place is important for what it represents in the history of the State.
But is also a very good lookout with a splendid view on Kineret, especially when sunset is close and the Sun reflects on the water.
I don't really think it is a suitable place for picnics as the area is not so big, but to stop there for 10-20 minutes, enjoy the view, take some pictures and as always evaluate the level of the Lake (low is bad and high is good), well, it's perfect.
I will attach several pictures which will explain the Monument and give you a glimpse of the beautiful view.
    Enjoy!

"The Jordan Carriages" also known as "Merkavot Hayarden" are run by Uri Sharet, the wagon-driver.
Uri offers a unique experience taking the family members on his carriages, for a magical tour in the beautiful scenery of the Jordan Valley.
Uri hands out a song booklet and sings along the family and travellers while seasoning the carriage ride with fascinating stories and historical facts of the Jordan Valley, where he grew up.
The trip is suitable for families, also with elder seniors, groups of friends and special occasions.
We visited The Jordan Carriages over 3 times now, celebrating a 50 year anniversary for family members (15 participants), a trip with friends and an organized trip from work with over 50 participants in which case, Uri arranges for a few carriages.
During the trip, the carriages stop at a fascinating spot at the Jordan river. It is possible to bathe there and Uri offers authentic tea and instructs the young kids how to build tiny rafts and send them down the river.
It is also possible to arrange to be served with home made stew which was cooked at the camp fire at the end of the trip.
Highly recommended for families, friends, group of people working together and special occasions.

10:45, I have just had breakfast at Jamie Oliver’s. The young lady who served kindly ensured that I did not have allergies. I ordered fried eggs on brown bread toast. The knife available was so blunt that it was only able to butter the toast and not to cut it. When I asked for a knife that cuts I was told that for security reasons imposed by the airport this was the only knife available. How would I have had to eat a steak if I had ordered one????? Tear it with my teeth? My eggs were cold by the end I had sawn through the toast. Jamie, please do something about your knives.
