Our bus driver's name was Richard O'Brien. From the start to finish he was witty, a wealth of information of historical events, comical and he had a great singing voice to go with his storytelling . In closing, I would highly recommend Paddywagon tours and Richard for anyone visiting Dublin

Excellent tour. Adrienne was our driver/tour guide. He was exceptional!!! Knowledgeable and passionate about history of Ireland. I learned so much. He is witty and humorous. Thought 12 hours would seem too long, but he filled in the drive time with interesting stories. Best tour I’ve ever been in. Thank you Adrienne.

We just completed a phenomenal 6-day small group tour of Ireland, and I can't rave enough about our experience! Our tour guide, Tony, was an absolute gem – his passion for Irish history and culture was contagious, and his insightful commentary enriched every stop along the way.

The itinerary was brilliantly crafted, striking a perfect balance between iconic landmarks like the Cliffs of Moher and hidden treasures like the quaint villages of County Kerry. We were pleasantly surprised by the variety of activities included, from whiskey tastings to traditional music sessions, each offering a unique glimpse into Ireland's rich heritage.
Hotels were top-notch and centrally located too adding an extra layer of charm to our journey. Traveling in a small group allowed for personalized attention and a tight-knit camaraderie among fellow travelers, making each day feel like an adventure with friends.

Kudos to the tour company for seamless logistics and comfortable transportation. We felt safe and well taken care of throughout the experience.

From the rugged beauty of the Wild Atlantic Way to the mystical landscapes of Connemara, every moment was filled with awe and wonder. This tour exceeded all expectations and left us with memories and new found friendships to last a lifetime. Without hesitation, I would highly recommend this tour to anyone seeking an authentic and unforgettable journey through the heart of Ireland.

This was the second Rabbie's tour my sister and I took and it did not disappoint! What a beautiful way to see the Irish countryside. Our tour guide, Marcus was wonderful, so knowledgable and kind! We were blessed with amazing winter weather (with not a single drop of rain on our 3 day trip) and were able to see Ireland at it's finest! The trip was well-paced, nothing seemed too rushed and we had plenty of time to explore the town of Dingle. We also enjoyed our accommodations (B&B) that Rabbie's set up for us; the host provided a good breakfast and gave us a warm welcome.

We loved having a Private Tour for the day! We were able to spend all the time we wanted at each site without feeling rushed or crowded! Four of us share a Mercedes Van in full comfort while the drivere shared wonderful history and lore about these three castles! We saw Rock of Cashel and the neighboring abbey, Blarney Castle (kissed the stone, but it's a long wait - took over an hour in line), and then Cahir. Pick-u was at our hotel and drop off was in Temple Bar at our request. I can't imagine a better day! Well worth the cost!!!

THE best way to see the Emerald Isle! Accommodations were fantastic and our tour guide could not have been better. It was lovely to travel the countryside in a small group and then be given time to explore major sites like Giants Causeway, Slieve League and Kenmore Abbey. The herding dog demo and black cab tour of Belfast were just some of the highlights. I feel like I got a wonderful overview of the country. I traveled solo and always felt comfortable and welcomed.

    The Good:
    - Local tour guide Pat O'Mara made this an exceptional experience. He is knowledgeable, witty (dry humour), flexible, genuine, and a great all-around human being. Ask him about meeting Seamus.
    - Activities were flexible. People on the tour could do different activities at the same time depending on interests and abilities. For example, in Westport, some of us shopped and explored the town, some hiked the shorter/lower trails of Croagh Patrick, and some went for the summit.
    - Small group meant we could make friends with our tour group buddies! Pat was adept at helping all the personalities meld, from the quiet small-town Canadians to the big New York personalities.
    - The bus was roomy and comfortable. Small enough to traverse little roads and stop at off-the-beaten-track attractions.
    - Overland Tours themselves were flexible and accommodating as well. When booking the tour, flight schedules were such that we had to arrive in Ireland a few hours after the tour started. Overland was understanding and reassured us that meeting up with the tour group later was not an unusual request. (Actually finding the group/guide was a different story, see below)

    The Bad:
    - Zilch.

    The just OK:
    - Some of the accommodations were just alright in terms of how comfortable the beds were. Otherwise though the B&Bs that we stayed at were cute and very friendly.
    - For those with modified schedules (e.g. arriving late), it would have been helpful to have more communication re: our modified start time from Overland. We ended up contacting Overland via emergency channels when we realized the night before our arrival in Ireland that we didn't know who our tour guide was or where exactly to meet them. It all worked out in the end, however.

Cannot speak highly enough of our Overland Ireland tour! Our family of five took an individual, small group tour of Southern/Western Ireland from Dublin- a total 10 days.

Leah and Jessica were a crucial part of the planning process and helped with creating the perfect trip itinerary for our family, while also remaining cognizant of our budget. They were very responsive to emails and even met via video call to go over questions we had, which eased our anxiety about traveling abroad for the first time. They also were very helpful in establishing special reservations for restaurants and attractions prior to our visit, and updated us as changes were made to our itinerary.

Our journey started in Dublin, where we were charmed by the history of the Castle Hotel, and made visits to the Guinness Storehouse and Jameson Distillery, but our real journey began the next day when we met our driver Pat and ventured into "True Ireland". Over the course of our 10 day visit, we were able to see more than we ever anticipated and stopped at sites along the way that we hadn't expected. Some of our favorite sites included- the Rock of Cashel, Gap of Dunloe, Barry's walking tour in Kinsale, Muckross House, Ross Castle, Kylemore Abbey, the Blasket Center, Inch beach, The Quiet Man museum, Sean's walking tour in Galway, and Ashford Castle. Each day, Pat worked hard to personalize our trip and remained open to adventure! He was incredibly flexible and willing to adjust the schedule based on our needs for the day, and he always kept the van clean/tidy. Pat often had fantastic suggestions for food and shopping, and overall kept us well entertained with stories and conversation along the way! Pat truly became one of the family. The memories he created for us will never be forgotten, and would not have happened on a larger tour bus. Additionally, every hotel/bed and breakfast was clean and perfectly located. We enjoyed the breakfast selections and amenities. Each town also had a great selection of restaurants and local music.

On the final day of our trip, I can honestly say that we were all very sad to leave Ireland. The kindness of the Irish people, the beauty of Ireland's landscape, the rich history, music, and culture are unmatched. We just want to thank the team at Overland Ireland for making this trip so special and for creating amazing memories for our family! We will be back soon and there is no other company we would rather travel. 110% recommend for small group/family tours!

We had a great day trip visiting the 3 castles. Alec was a great guide giving us bits of history and telling stories along the way. He recommended nice shops and good places to eat. I enjoyed this tour a great deal!

We spent two delightful days with Val and had the time of our lives. Our group consisted of 12 people with ages from teens all the way to Grandma. Val entertained all ages and my giant family fell in love with Val. We had the best time touring Wicklow, Cork, Blarney Castle, Kinsale and Dublin. Val accommodated all activity levels and we were so sad to leave him. Everyone agreed out of the 11 different private guides we hired for this big epic trip, Val was the crowd favorite. If you want to see Ireland, then the only way to see it is with Val. We can’t wait to go back and visit Ireland again with Your Irish Tour.

Diana offered a fantastic experience to Cashel Rock, as well as private tour at the local village museum by the owner, and a castle tour. She is a wonderful host and knowledgeable. She is diligent and committed to providing a premiere tour experience starting with our pick up at our hotel. We will be back, and we will be booking with Diana in the future. We loved all the sites we visited, learned a lot, and enjoyed the beautiful scenery. Very well done and a highly valued experience. Many thanks!

First off, there has to be a better way to tell people where the Dublin pickup point is for these tours. There is no sign, no written directions. There is a location marker on Google Maps for "Paddy's Palace" and if you use street view, there is a picture of a corner brick building with scaffolding. This building no longer has scaffolding and is NOT the pickup point. The actual pickup point is a bus stop just down the street, on the other side of the street, under the bridge by the Trinity Church and across the street from a hostel. There is no sign for Paddywagon, just a pull over for the bus stop. Once your bus does come and you grab a seat, the rest of the day will be much less confusing.

The two day itinerary we did is actually two one-day tours (Rock of Cashel/Blarney Castle from Dublin and Cliffs of Moher from Cork) where you are dropped off at a Bed & Breakfast in Cork at the end of your first day and you get on another bus in Cork the next morning. At the end of your second day, you then transfer to third bus that is on its way back to Dublin.

Day 1 Rock of Cashel/Blarney Castle from Dublin: Our day 1 guide/driver, Alex, was wonderful - entertaining, relayed good information along the way, kept us informed of the itinerary and what to expect, and answered questions, but also allowed for quiet time. Two hour drive from Dublin to Rock of Cashel. Alex gave us our tickets and we had 50 minutes to explore at our own pace. There are bathrooms as well as a small coffee shop and gift shop near the car park. Back on the bus for 1 hour to Cork, where Alex dropped us off in city center with 1 hour to have lunch, explore and/or shop. The overnight folks were taken by Alex to the Acorn House B&B, introduced to the owner, and dropped our bags off - so we ended up with about 40 minutes to eat (we ate at Gallagher's pub by the B&B). Then, a short drive to Blarney Castle, where we were given our tickets by Alex and had 2.5 hours to explore on our own. This amount of time allowed us time to do the Castle (including the kiss - very short line the day we were there), walk most of the closer gardens, eat Gelato, go to the restroom, and browse at Blarney Woolen Mills. It was a very pleasant, not rushed, afternoon. The overnight folks were then taken back to Cork to the Acorn House B&B at 16:30. The B&B is not fancy, but was clean and comfortable with a full Irish Breakfast made early for us so we could catch our bus for day 2 - the pickup point in Cork is right at the Paddywagon office just down the hill from the B&B and Alex must have told us 3 times where it was and what time to be there. We enjoyed a walk around Cork, a nice dinner at The River Club, a drink at the intimate The Library, and a drink and live music at Sin'E near the B&B.

Day 2 Cliffs of Moher from Cork/Limerick: Our day 2 guide/driver DJ had some great driving skills on the narrow roads. He provided good information about the area and fun stories, along with a few jokes, along the way and kept us updated on the itinerary. First stop was at Limerick to pick up more passengers. There was also a refreshment/bathroom stop at a filling station. We arrived at the Cliffs of Moher where DJ gave us our tickets and we had 1.5 hours to explore on our own. There are restrooms, Cafe, gift shop, and exhibits near the car park. After the Cliffs, there was a very short drive back to Doolin to the John P. Holland Center which is the lunch stop. The Center is a cafeteria style serving good soups, salads, sandwiches, desserts, and hot entree items. What we got was good - quiche, ham & cheese sandwiches, salads, and a chocolate cheesecake mousse. There was definitely a variety of items, but this place is your only choice. After lunch, we went to the Burren, where we had a 35 minute stop to walk around and explore on our own. Back in the bus to the last stop, which was 30 minutes at the gift store at Bunratty Castle - the Castle itself is a nice photo opportunity, but you can't enter it. The stop is primarily a restroom & snack stop prior to the trek back to the dropoff. Since DJ's bus was going back to the Limerick and Cork dropoffs, we were left at this stop to wait on a Dublin bound bus with Richard as driver. We ended up with 1.5 hours at this stop. Two hours back to Dublin, where Richard relayed some information about the area, but mostly let everyone chill to some good tunes.

Overall, aside from the confusing Dublin pickup point, we were very happy with our 2 day itinerary. We got both full daytours plus time to explore Cork and a night at a comfortable B&B, which we felt was better for us than 2 separate day tours and the hours back and forth to Dublin. The Cliffs were amazing, but are pretty much the focus of the tour and there is more time on the bus, whereas the Rock of Cashel/Blarney Castle tour had two nice stops and the Cork lunch stop allowed folks to choose their own activity and place to eat.
