A native of Ipoh with in-depth knowledge he was very happy to accommodate our priorities and tailor the tour to our interests. Pickup and return was from / to the hotel, slightly out of town, and we were driven around the main sights. Highlights were the breathtaking cave temples, and the story behind Kellie's Castle. Visits included Kellie's Castle, Gaharu Tea Valley, Gua Tempurung and the cave temple. Our guide/driver was well informed, enthusiastic and considerate. The staff were so friendly and helpful. We plan to return for white water rafting sometime soon. - kim1012Singapore69 contributionsWe did a number of activities at Nomad- white water, tempurung, gua kandu, flatwater, hiking and mountains school. We had previously tried white water and mountain school with nomad, so this is our second time doing this and also staying at earth camp.
We really enjoyed all the activities and the sheer simplicity of immersing in nature. The staff were friendly and professional. An activity like white water rafting could go horribly wrong without a professional guidance of someone who knows what they are doing, and the staff at nomad really knew this. The team of guides isvery passionate about the environment, and care a lot about the problem of human impact in Gopeng.
