- Telly FJakarta, Indonesia332 contributionsIndonesia has many beautiful and natural beaches. Nongsa beach is one of them but I think the authority needs to pay attention to the development of tourism in Batam. The people must keep the beach clean. We need to educate the people. More tourists means more business, more opportunities, more income.Written 29 December 2016This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Dila BachmidBatam, Indonesia63 contributionsThis is our first time visiting Bale Bale Beach, one thing we have noticed that there are no road signage to this area. Fortunately we can searched it in Google Maps, so you won't get lost, but for who never heard about this place won't notice it. Too bad😢.
Quite surprise about the concept that welcome us on the entrance. Some of the locals open souvenirs shop and it felt like tourist area in Bali, which is great for Batam.
With nice weather the place is a great spot to capture some photos, with the blue sky, coconut tree and white sandy beach it make a great combination.
But the beach not really for swimming, since our purpose to come to this beach for team building activities it's not affected us much.
With more great care from government and the locals, this beach is a great potential for tourism destination. We saw also a lot of Korean visiting this place and enjoying it.Written 29 January 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. We were given the Island (no island green here!) and Resorts nine holes. The course itself was a pleasant play but we were disappointed that we didn’t get the sea views. Not too much water. Greens reasonable but speed not so consistent. Caddies were helpful.Written 13 September 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Arlene SVirginia Beach, VA196 contributionsThis is probably the best botanical garden I have been to. It is free to enter but there is a charge for the Orchid Garden, $5 for regular admission and $1 for seniors. It is worth it to visit this amazing orchid display. The gardens are well signed and absolutely delightful.Written 15 March 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Jeffrey14 contributionsBu Warra was fantastic in handling our reservations and met us upon arrival at Nongsa. The course was in good condition and this made the golf enjoyable. Highly recommended and would definitely return.Written 3 March 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Indra MuhtadiCimahi, Indonesia391 contributionsThe name of Nogsa itself is actually come from the name of ‘Nong Isa’ which was the King Isa name when he was little. This Cemetery complex is the historic proof that there is the kingdom in Batam centuries ago. It is located on the top op small hill surrounded by old trees and sap trees. If you are lucky sometimes you would find monkeys jumping from tree to tree. The atmosphere of the complex is yellow, the color of Riau. Nong Isa himself was not buried in this graveyard which until now is still mystery where he was buried. To reach the complex you have to climb dozens of stairs until you reach the entrance of the complex and found the history of Batam Kingdom back to 18th century, printed on wooden board. Too bad that the board is already part broken and some fonts are fade away.
I suggest the stake holders and local government should pay more attention to this complex to preserve the heritage of Batam. Not like today, when this cemetery complex not even exist on the Google map!Written 28 February 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Our room overlooks the sea, while massaging, the ambience with the sound of the waves is so calming and relaxing. My therapist is Reni. She's very attentive and her massage is on point. I totally enjoy my treatment and will definitely be back. 6 stars!Written 19 November 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
