We picked the 7 night North Ari Island hopping which had a great mix of snorkelling / meeting locals over tea / self exploring local islands and beaches / eating / a bit of artwork on the beach / and hanging out!
Our guides Shark and Nafsha were fantastic, and the organization and communication from Ruth and the office team prior to the trip was top notch. We feel so lucky that we had this experience, and that we selected Secret Paradise to make this happen.
One highlight for us was identifying turtles which we saw snorkelling, and sending the images to the Olive Ridley Project database. We even got to name a turtle!
Following the island hopping we stayed 4 days at Reethi Beach Resort which Ruth had suggested, and it was a great place to stay with a nice beachfront villa, and a wide range of food experiences.
All the transfers to and from the resort were seamless. - Voyage662219459171 contributionI had a great time at Maafushi, right from the airport pickup to our hotel and the tour experience.
The process was very seamless and the staff were very friendly.
The parasailing was our best moment, it was so much fun and I also loved that the staff had a drone shot of us in the air.

All pick ups and transfers were on time and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for the Secret Paradise team. - Sightseer521135167182 contributionsAwful, they feed the sharks and we didn’t know that. They told us eveything but they left out the part that it would take half an hour to make photo’s with a drone while feeding the sharks. People would lay in between them and were even touching them.

Most of them wear life jackets as they can’t swim. And all you have are flippers all over you from hundreds of people including children.

Yes - mass tourism has reached the islands.
I did not do this specific tour from this agency but could not find any other topic. The snorkeling, swimming with nurse sharks was memorable experience and would recomended it to everyone. Was scared at first when i saw those sharks and rays but our guide was so nice i explained everything that I would definitely do it again.
