On a cool, grey day with light rain, the winding walk and the waterfall were both wonderful and atmospheric. A must-see.

Worth visiting this well preserved cinema from another era. Take a break from mines and mountains and soak up some culture

The walk to the falls is more of a treat than the falls themselves. Your journey is approx 1km along a board walk attached to the side of the hill. The scenery is breathtaking and the climb is quite exhilarating.

Kelly Basin is an amazing walk. As other mentioned there are hidden artifacts of a lost hidden town.
During Winter when the river is full there are many water falls to view.

Truly great views of Queenstown from the top, but certainly a tough pathway up there. The path could be looked after a lot better.

Amongst the appeal of this well presented station, is a Railway museum room, full of history and photos from the past.

    Just beside the ticketing office

Driving along this road, you will first come to a lookout to Mt Huxley, then over the crest, there is Mt Jukes lookout

    A scenic drive

This was a lovely, lush short walk, that I would highly recommend. It was difficult to find (thank you GPS!) and there was very limited parking. The entrance to the walk is signposted by a man cut out of tin! It is a loop walk, that I would describe as moderate due to some steep sections, slightly slippery under foot and some ropes in sections. The walk is through a lush rainforest with lots of beautiful trees and plants and lovely views of both rivers on either side. Highly recommend.

Nice little tribute to the mining generation of the area. One of the highlights of this little town of which there are not many

Just amazing - No other MTB trails compare to the trails built in Queenstown. There are so many trails from beginner to advanced there is something for everyone. Will definitely be back during Winter to try the trails in the rain for a truly unique experience.

42 miners lost their lives. This area has plaques for them all and trees planted alongside. It looked a bit neglected and could have done with a brush cut.
