Very beautiful town hall square with the city hall building, the house of the blackheads -lovely at night - and the view of St Peter’s Church tower.
Knowing that Latvians chose to engage artisans to reconstruct this historic building—something for which Europeans pride themselves—makes this a must-see site.

They add to already cozy little street and a view to the Dome Cathedral.
This is an ironic view at sudden independence, something German friends in 1989 could not grasp for months.
