Wat Phra Chetuphon, or more commonly known as Wat Pho, is a Buddhist temple complex in the Phra Nakhon district of Bangkok, Thailand. The complex houses the largest reclining Buddha in the world, as well as a highly revered golden Buddha. Wat Pho is also a center of traditional Thai medicine and massage, and is home to the Thai Traditional Medical and Massage School. If you're looking for a good place to relax and escape the hustle and bustle of Bangkok, Wat Pho is definitely the place to go.

Our favorite experience in Chiang Mai and possibly all of Thailand. The elephants are very clearly loved and well cared for. The day was great, comfortable ride to the park in an air conditioned van, lots of information on the way and at the park, and tons of time with the elephants while they ate, walked, and swam. The staff is all very knowledgeable and super friendly, they clearly love their jobs. Strongly recommend this experience for anyone looking to spend humane time with elephants. There was even a 6 year old in our group who had a great time too!

A totally different experience while in phuket. The tour was so informative and getting to play with the puppies and cats after is a real treat. It was real eye opener in terms of culture towards cats and dogs here in Thailand and also in neighbouring Asian countries. Id recommend visiting to everyone. Both my 8yo and 2yo get something out of it and my 8 yo is looking forward to doing some fundraising when back home in Australia.

After an enforced absence of nearly 2 years my wife and myself are holidaying in Phuket (this time staying at the Angsana Laguna Phuket - Review to follow) and been able to again enjoy our daily walks on Bang Tao beach.

Although the sea is still rougher than usual (calmer conditions should return over the next couple of weeks) - which impacts some of the slopes - there are few better walking beaches (certainly not as long - Bang Tao Bay stretches for a good 4-5 miles) on the Island.

At present - and, hopefully, not for too much longer - there are relatively few tourists so many of the Restaurants/Resorts remain closed. This is great for the likes of us but not for the many locals whose livelihoods are heavy dependent on tourism.

Very much hope, therefore, that 2022 will bring with it a return to normality so that we all can get on with our lives again!

One of the most beautiful beach of Phuket, but not that easy to access, the way down takes you 15 to 20 minutes walk and same on your way up, but when it's hot the way back can be a bit challenging, nothing crazy, but clearly make you burn a lot of calories.
If you don't want to walk, you can come by a long tail boat, from Patong beach, it cost between 1000 and 1500baths depending the mood of the captain and your bargaining skills.
But this beach is definitely a must see when in Phuket, you won't regret it, it's stunning.

Visited with the family. Beach was deserted and had most of it to ourselves. Lovely little area rented out sunbeds free if you ate or drank and prices were very reasonable. Water slopes slowly so my 3 year old could play safely. Water very calm and waves just bobbed slightly. Lovely way to spend a day.

Visited the market in the night and it has a lovely atmosphere with good live music and great food (a lil pricey). Spent about an hour before visiting the tamarind market (just next door) with more food variety.

We visited this place on a very hot day. So the 1260 steps up the hill grave been very challenging. The view from the temple was great. Nothing for kids because the stairs are quite height.

A truely magical experience. Take a trip to another time and another world - beautiful scenery and well maintained grounds, statues & old school village/buildings. We drove a small car up the hillside - the roads are step and arrow in sections and can be a difficult/ sketchy drive - would recommend going with a tour or driver.

A beautiful place where the elephants are so well kept and treated with the highest levels of hygiene and health. The place offered an educational experience as well as allowing us to prepare food and feed the elephants. All staff were brilliant.
