Wat Pho (aka the Temple of The Reclining Buddha) is one of the six temples classed as first-class royal temples in Thailand. It is associate with the king Rama I, who supposedly had it built on the site of an earlier temple. The temple has a huge collection of Buddha images and the gilded statue of the Reclining Buddha is 46 meters long and 15 meters high. It is an interesting and important temple, well worth your time.

The temple structures are amazing. The Buddha serene statues and other sculptures are worth a visit. The place is beautifully landscaped. The destination is easy to reach by cab (bolt /grab)

Early June is a perfect time to visit Thailand and to see these wonderful sights. It was almost empty because of COVID closures earlier and not many travellers now. Weather is good although Monsoon will soon arrive. The temples and buildings are a must see.

The Golden Mount is another interesting temple in Bangkok. You need to climb 320 stairs up to the top, where the actual Golden Mount is 77 meters tall and you have a nice view of the Rattanakosin Island and parts of the city. It is not a straight-up climbing, the stairs seem to go around the monument, and there are tree or four interesting places to stop, catch your breath and pray. All together, a pleasant and interesting experience - worth a visit..

We drove to Siam Paragon at 11.30 am on Sunday. The parking space was easy to find at 12 noon. We had lunch at Fox Princess. We got 4 hours free of parking. We stopped at Krungsri Bank Lounge and SCB Private Lounge for free coffee. The mall is beautiful but crowded. The parking was full at 3.30 pm.

Largest golden Buddha, but the temple is small and if it were crowded (wasn’t when I visited) I suspect it will be a real struggle. Interesting history!

Booked a ticket online and easy to redeem. Staff are friendly as they helped you navigate your way to the rooftop. One of the best rooftop viewing point in Bangkok! Highly recommended for first timers especially.

Beautiful and as a newbie to Thai culture definetley worth a visit. Also, did the free guided tour at 2.30pm. Very informative and detail heavy so need to be keen for this to undertake it but learnt a lot I would not have otherwise. Starting to get busy but was told by locals that still very quiet so if you can a great time to visit. Remember to wear modest clothing unless you want to buy some elephant trousers.

Great way to get around Bangkok. Trains were always air conditioned and clean. Stations were also clean and staff spoke English so buy your subway fare cards at the ticket window.

I went to Bangkok on APR-MAY and this is my first mall in Bangkok.
This mall has many shops, they are all fancy but reasonable.
I love Thai street food court on ground floor

The mall has a good mix of shops and eateries. There's a supermarket as well. Great to spend a day in the mall shopping and eating. There are activities at the podium as well.
