Me and my girlfriend were shopping for artwork nearby, we decided we would go have a look for dress shirts because I have a hard time getting slim fit shirts being tall and skinny.
There are many tailor shops around chiang mai, but if you want high quality, fast service and friendly atmosphere Tony tailor is the place to go.

I live in the United States, and on return visits to Chiang Mai, I noticed his little tailor shop while walking along Wichayanon road toward the Kad Luang (Talad Varoroj).

It's my first time visiting a tailor shop in town, and glad I have seen and try out Boston Tailor.

Memorable shopping
As a testament to how highly I think of the shop, I purchased 7 more shirts and 2 pants after getting back from Asia (he saves your measurements and offers shipping anywhere in the world).

And I also left with more than I was actually shopping for.
Raaj is one of the nicest guys to get a custom suit from, he treated my friend and I great and I highly recommend coming to his shop!

The location is convenient as well, close to the Night Bazaar, so there is other good shopping and dining in the area.
I will definitely recommend their shop to friends and family that are lucky enough to spend time in Chiang Mai and will be ordering more items in the future (they keep all measurements on file!).

... because here I met Bob, great guy! Bob will tell you everything about Chiang mai, where to go and what to do, I had two suits and six shirts made at this small little tailor shop but full with quality.
The fit is wonderful, the wool is just right--this is definitely the best tailor shop in Chiang Mai.

I was just street shopping and New Moda caught my eye.
I've shopped around Chiang Mai and judging from the quality of the suits on the storefront, New Moda definitely has the vast majority of other tailors beat in fabric quality and tailoring abilities.

His tailor shop is a bit of hidden compare to others, but the place is very nicely situated, and the environment is quite, peaceful, very pleasant place to be.
And the service from the shop owner Mehrban was exceptional, really helpful and knowledgeable about tailoring.

Like any night bazaar or shopping district in many parts of the world their is a crush of vendors trying to sell you their wares.
Besides that this is a great tailor shop I will say that Boy has a fantastic personality!

A hidden gem amongst the crowded night market shops..

The massage by the blind was an amazing experience and I really enjoyed doing some shopping!
First we started out on a Red Truck and were taken to town so we could shop the morning markets and watch people stop to purchase gift trays with food and flowers to give to Buddhist Monks walking on the street.

We visited several tailor shops before deciding to trust Best Armani Collection (brothers Tom & James).

A nice change from the mass produced market shopping and a portion of the sale goes towards elephant conservation.

Great shopping spot where you can bargain with almost all of the vendors.
It is however, amazingly decorated - from haystacks to sit on, bars/shops with different food truck style themes to live band performances every night.

Most of the reviews below seem to be speaking of the Clay Studio Coffee Shop, which is set within the fabulous terracotta gardens, adjacent to the Baan Phor Liang Meun's Terra Cotta Arts.
Nice atmosphere like in to ancient city there is alot of sculpture all around the shop and trees coffee are good.

I ended up getting 2 suits , 3 shirts and Johnny did some nice tailoring and got our clothes done within 24 hours , as this was a last minute shopping .
My friend has been a client of Thai custom tailors for a while and I always liked the way her suits are made so I visited the shop and met Johny .

The shop is great by its choice of top quality fabrics, but the attitude and dedication of the tailor is the best.
All my clothing his shop made turned out elegant, high quality, and worth the cost.

I am constantly complimented about how beautiful my shirts are and always refer friends to Mr Suvit's shop if they in town or just on holiday, as a lasting memento of Chiang Mai.
I highly recommend his shop to anyone in Chiang Mai looking to have new clothes made or alterations done.

It is a very local market, worth your time of a few hours to explore in and around the market, foods are cheap and good, great for shopping.
Warorot market ot Talat Warorot is a great market to visit, as you can see what the local residents shop for and therefore get great items at excellent prices.
