It was an enjoyable day, all be it a bit long. The guide did an excellent job. The numerous activities made it well worth the price.

I have done several tours with Byam, and they were all great! He was very flexible and suggestive on the itinerary. His knowledge of Mongolia was amazing too.

The tours were all amazing from the parks, city, and the largest Chinngis Khan statue. The parks had amazing landscapes and untouched nature. Then the city tour gave a good insight tour offered a lot of history of the country from old to the modern. Lastly, the Khan statue (one of the biggest horse statues in the world) is a sight of its own and needs to be seen by the human eye.

Along with these tours, I did do some add-ons not listed on Tripadvisor. Some of them that I will list range from museums to a traditional Mongolian play. I personally enjoy informative acitivies, and the museums offer a lot in Ulaanbaatar. Then I think the biggest one of them all was the traditional Mongolian play; this play demonstrates traditional instruments, throat singing, dances, and more. I highly suggest this to anyone.

If you are ever in Mongolia, Byam is a very good person to book many tours with. He will definitely build you a wonderful vacation that you will enjoy.

It was a great experience with wonderful scenery. The guide was nice and friendly. I was able to ride a camel. I enjoy spending time with the nomadic family. It’s a 5 hour drive each way so you should get prepared for that. This trip was an unforgettable solo adventure.

I highly recommend Amicus Travel for your trip in Mongolia. Their tour guide/manager Zaya, was very accommodating and amazing. We both climb in Mt. Bogd Khan in the winter season, she makes the trip so fun and enjoyable despite of the very cold weather. While Billy also my tour guide was highly knowledgeable in Mongolian culture, history, religion, etc. I’ve learned a lot about Mongolia through him. He’s also a very thoughtful guide who will take care all your needs and concerns while on the trip. Overall, my experience with was GREAT!

My tour guide's name is Bat. He is the best! He shared a lot of insightful facts about Mongolia's history and culture. He went beyond, gave me plenty of opportunities to take photos and I also got to try the Mongolian milk tea and dumplings. It was yummy! I would give him more than five stars for all the efforts and memorable experiences.

Also the horse riding was so nice and fun. The good thing about doing this activity during winter time is that you can enjoy the places all to yourself.

(A long overdue review!) I solo travelled during end of 2023, with an amazing tour guide Bachi! I had the most out of this world experience during my stay in the semi gobi desert. We travelled from the city centre of Ulaanbaatar into amazing stretches of snow and mountains. The car ride lasts about 5 hours or so, which may seem long but the wonderful sights of the white covered desert, migrating animals, glimpses of Mongolian cowboys, the Trans-Siberian Railway, paired with Bachi's rocking music taste of Mongolian artists and knowledgeable stories, was a very much enjoyable experience, that I will remember forever!

We stopped a few times along the way to eat, stock up at the supermarkets, take in the scenery and stopped at a shaman statue, where Bachi kindly shared a traditional ceremonial offering. The family I stayed with were lovely and accommodating, the older gentleman took me to see the deer in the morning which I was not expecting! So that was a great surprise. The camel ride was super super fun, seeing all the wild animals around was lovely too. The food was homemade, hearty and filling, perfect for the winter season. My whole trip was planned around this tour, and it was the best decision made, I learnt a lot about the culture and history!

Thank you again Bachi and the family for this truly memorable experience! :) I hope you are all well!

Tip: If you are travelling during the winter season, stock up on plenty of body warmers! It was about -25 c when I was there, and I was told it was -40 c the week before arriving. The yurt is warmed by a single furnace, which dies down over time, so it can get very cold. I brought my own sleeping bag which is made for below freezing temperature and would recommend this to others, though the family were very accommodating with keeping me warm, with lots of hot soups! As previous reviewers have noted, bring toilet rolls and be comfortable with doing your business outside as there are no bathrooms, or go during the stops along the car journey. The desert is extra beautiful in the winter season though, so definitely worth it!

My friend and I did the 8 day Taste of Mongolia tour. It was well organized and we really enjoyed all our destinations and our guide and driver. It was a comfortable tour with a good vehicle, meals and places to stay. If anyone is interested in visiting Mongolia I would recommend.

I enjoyed a guided tour that provided insightful information about the park's ecosystem and history. The friendly guide was knowledgeable and passionate about conservation. The experience was enhanced by the chance to spot other wildlife, including deer and various bird species.

Overall, Hustai National Park is a must-visit for nature lovers and anyone interested in Mongolia's unique landscapes and wildlife. Whether you're hiking or simply taking in the views. Thanks to the Meet Mongolia tour team, in the park we had a memorable adventure!

Take Care to book! They can cancel the tour only 10 hours before like they did with us! It was not because of the weather, because it is good! We don’t receive even a message telling why the tour was canceled! I extremely don’t recommend! No commitment!

My friends and I booked a one-day tour and it exceeded all expectations! The itinerary covered all the must-see attractions and included a delightful experience of tasting local Mongolian cuisine.

A special shoutout goes to our guide, who also expertly handled the driving duties. His knowledge of the area was impressive, and he shared fascinating insights into Chinggis Khaan and Mongolian history. His passion for the subject truly shone through, making the trip not only enjoyable but also educational.

This tour was worth every moment and I can't recommend it highly enough. If you're looking for an enriching and immersive experience, this is it!

My name is Josh, lives in Beijing, China, works as a teacher. I went to Mongolia last summer. I had only 3 days in Ulanbatar, so I took a day-trip to Terelj national park which is only hour and half drive from the hotel where I stayed. I chose Gala from iTour Mongolia travel agency. He picked me up at the hotel with his own toyota SUV that is super comfortable because I'm the only traveler. It was exclusive to me. We drove straight to the statue of Genghis Khan then go to national park that includes hiking to Meditation temple and riding Mongolian horses. On the way back, we made short stop for let me try fermented mare's milk, that was amazing. Whole tour was tremendous. I recommend iTour Mongolia if you make a trip to terelj national park. Thank you!

Going on a day tour with Olivia made me realize that experiencing UB and Mongolia by yourself is a poor substitute for going with a knowledgeable guide. Not only was Olivia informative and genuinely interesting, but the tour felt less like a rote, standardized tour and more like a friend showing you around a new city. In short, if you're visiting Mongolia, you'd be doing yourself a disservice if you don't spend at least a day with a tour guide, and if you're hiring a guide, you can't do better than Olivia.
