This was our first visit to Ulaanbaatar and Bayambaa picked up my colleague and I at our hotel. He took us to see the Chinggis Khan statue and the sights of the National park. It was a fabulous tour. Bayambaa was a great driver and we felt very safe. Would highly recommend 👌

The travel was very long over 5 hours each way and the road very bumpy with lots of pit holes. The vehicle we were travelling in was very uncomfortable, six people in a small mini van and only stopped once by the roadside when someone was desperate for the loo. The tour guide was lovely but slept both ways of the journey so not very informative. Despite this the time spent in the Gobi was worth it and we had a great time riding camels.

This trip was just a great experience for me and my girlfriend. We travelled with Zendmen travel last summer with two trips. One of them was 9 days Gobi tour and other was Naadam festival day trip. Both trip was unbelievable.

Naadam is such great must-visit festival. Heard about Naadam festival from friend before but experiencing a horse racing and opening ceremony was even better than I expected.

Zendmen took care of us just right, definitely recommend them.

I'm expat in Mongolia, when I first came here I felt everything different. Before Mongolia I been to bunch of countries to live in. Mongolia was very much different than those. I've always wanted to live like a real nomad, riding horses like locals, do same as nomadic housewives daily work. Last summer I made it over and helped by Gala. It was amazing to live with nomadic family. I rode horse everyday, making cheese and curds, drinking airag /fermented mare's milk/ was my favorite. I got nicest hosts who were the most hospitable people I had ever met. Gala /owner of the company/ connected the family and organized everything. I have loads of experience now and when I'm back to Canada I have plenty of stories to tell. Thanks to all I met during the trip. Thanks to iTour team for wonderful trip.

Wow -- this tour company was excellent. We tried 2 other companies - Tour radar and Viator. Tour Radar was good, but Juulchin was better. Viator tours we do not recommend.

Juulchin set up a tour at the last minute after a tour set up by Viator was a no-show the morning of the scheduled tour - in fact, the Viator tour guide did not answer phone calls or text messages - basically took our money and no one showed (we did finally get a refund from Viator, but not worth it.)

In contrast, Juulchin was at the hotel within an hour of the call. The driver and tour guide were fun, and interesting and the guide had excellent English and was a wealth of information. In addition to the statute, we visited a nomadic family that provided us with a horse tour. The lunch was one of the best we had in Mongolia.

We looked to see if we could use them for other tours but were unable to cancel prior scheduled tours. Juulchin will be our go-to when we return.

Magnificent monument. Worth the trip out from the city.
Lucky enough to be taken out by a work colleague so stopped for local food on the return trip.
    Great day.

Byam provided a tour of Ulaanbaatar with unrivalled insight and professionalism. He can tailor the sights exactly to your interests and will provide a level of explanation exactly to your liking. He has a wealth of knowledge in a variety of fields ranging from Buddhism, Mongolian history, and Ulaanbaatar itself. I highly recommend taking advantage of this as you won’t find this level on insight anywhere else.

Byam is also an exceptionally safe and careful driver that takes great care in the comfort and enjoyment of your travel.

I can also recommend his other services (airport transfer and national park/ Chinggis Khaan equestrian statue tour) as they are of the same high quality and provide consistent peace of mind.

I hope to enjoy the pleasure of his company again.

I did the Mongolia Trek the 1st 2 weeks of July 2023 with 4 other friends and have to say this was an experience almost beyond words. I have had the fortunate of being on two other Tusker Treks previously, Kilimanjaro and Patagonia, that were equally amazing. It was on the Patagonia trip where I was able to connect with another Tusker Trekker who had been to Mongolia and said, "if you ever get the chance to do that trip, you absolutely must do it. There is no other trip like it!" And he was right! Tusker trips are always phenomenally well-run with absolutely terrific guides, great equipment, fantastic food, and itineraries that are challenging yet accessible and always focused on client safety. The people that serve as guides and support the trek are some of the most friendly, generous, and kind folks that I have ever met, and by the end of the trip they are your friends. An interesting aspect of this trip is the opportunity to almost cover the entire distance on horseback, and even if you are not coming into the trip with much horse-riding experience, by the end of the trip you will be amazed and how much you have learned in a short-period of time. The scenery is fantastic, likely the most unspoiled place that I have ever been, and you keep being awed knowing that you are in one of the most remote places you can travel to. If all of that isn't enough, oh by way, the owner of Tusker Trails Eddie Frank personally leads this trip! If you want adventure stories, he's got 'em. And he goes above and beyond to learn the unique interests of the group that he is leading and finds creative and meaningful ways to make the trip extra special. This is the longest trip review I have ever written, I could go on and on, though hopefully this is enough to demonstrate how meaningful and amazing the Tusker Trails Mongolia Nomad Trip really is!

There are many places where you can find a bet to sleep in. But here you will find a temporary home, a shared flat a safe place.
You enter into a complete wooden room and you will be welcomed by such special souls. All the noises and the worrys stay outside.
Everything is possible here, as long as you know what you want.
They helped me to make my team of riding through mongolia true.
And my dog was welcomed like I have never seen it in a hostel before.
I will miss you guys and I will miss this place I call my home here in Mongolia.
    Thank you!

My friends and I booked a one-day tour and it exceeded all expectations! The itinerary covered all the must-see attractions and included a delightful experience of tasting local Mongolian cuisine.

A special shoutout goes to our guide, who also expertly handled the driving duties. His knowledge of the area was impressive, and he shared fascinating insights into Chinggis Khaan and Mongolian history. His passion for the subject truly shone through, making the trip not only enjoyable but also educational.

This tour was worth every moment and I can't recommend it highly enough. If you're looking for an enriching and immersive experience, this is it!

I hopped on for the middle of this trip, the staff were very flexible and helped me take a bus to the middle of Mongolia which I really appreciated. The guide was knowledgeable and was genuinely interested in showing us aspects of culture. He took all of our requests seriously and was flexible with the itinerary and customized the tour to our interests. I learned a ton from him and definitely want to return to Mongolia in the future.
