The pick up was well organized -with a mini bus. Then we all met in a central point from where we were distributed to the specific tours that people signed for. The coach bus had wi-fi. The tour guide, Itamar, kept us entertained and provided all kind of information. The most I liked the first part - the trip to Masada. Interesting story. For the second part- the Dead Sea, be prepared to have some flip-flops or sandals to walk from the change facilities to the sea itself. There is some sharp gravel that makes barefoot walking uncomfortable and there is a log walk to the sea. Well, this walk is only getting longer as the sea level goes down 1.2m/year. The entrance is slippery and muddy. There is a stop along the way to Masada in a cosmetics factory/store. There is also one stop in a shopping center on the way back. We also had lunch there. The prices for food seems to be reasonable: 19 US dollars for a full plate, salad and soup. Credit card accepted.
