What travellers are saying
- IndochinaTravelerUnited States12 contributionsThis place is really relaxing and very beautiful, perfect for meditating when traveling to the PhiliphenesWritten 20 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Chris HMakati, Philippines5 contributionsBeautiful place!
I recommend you visit early. I arrived about 7.30am, and there were only a handful of people; by about 9.30am there were many island tour boats arriving, and the place soon became busy.
I like to walk, so I walked from Station 2 (about 5km / 1 hour), although I didn't see anyone else doing the same. Most people arrived either by e-tricycle, or on a tour boat.
As you enter the beach, you can turn to the left and walk all the way along the beach. You can even go around the rocks at the end, where you will discover a beautiful private cove.Written 16 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - Babosam HotelBoracay, Philippines89 contributionsIt s on the bucket list of all the people who visit boracay. - Samir MQuezon City, Philippines30 contributionsI love staying here for sunset. with less crowd means less noise, you can own the beach while enjoying your fave drink from Dini Bar. I always come here to witness the sundown. I also like swimming here since it's deep as compared to the white beach.
The next time you visit Diniwid, make sure to explore the cliff beside it. There was once a hotel but it was demolished due to the 100-meter distance violation. It means, that side is open to public.
When you go to Dini Bar, say my hi to Julia (owner) and her son, Noah.Written 26 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - doctorfoxtrotTaguig City, Philippines7,607 contributionsThis is Boracay islands most important landmark. Specifically for station 1. Come in the early morning when it is on low tide and has fewer tourists. Nice thing about it is that it is free. Statue of the Virgin Mary adorns this landmark. So this good for the majority Catholic population and those who might just be interested.Written 24 December 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Katy SantosPhilippines516 contributionsD'Mall is the main mall of Boracay island, it is an open-air mall that offers a handful of restaurants and souvenir shops. It is used to be a jampacked mall in the past but when the pandemic started, the tourists are lesser and it looks like a ghost town at night.Written 17 December 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.

- Salina Michelle5 contributionsThis place was amazing. So glad we stumbled across it on trip advisor (it's not highly advertised, but really well reviewed by everyone who's been there, us included). We literally made the trip to the area just to go see this place and it was totally worth it for such a unique and immersive cultural learning experience. As far as we know, it's the only living museum of its kind in the PH, but I really hope this model is adopted elsewhere (here, home, and abroad). Such a great way to learn about and preserve a culture. Since they do have to prepare so much in advance, like the carabao and rice planting and the food they serve you (delicious btw), and arranging for the elders to come, so they do need to know you're coming. Just call or text the number listed here or on Google maps (no need to arrange a 'tour' - when we were there the going rate was ₽700 ea and totally worth every piso! They do a 10am and 2pm every day except Mondays and they can combine groups. We texted the night before for the 10am and another group called while we were there for the 2pm on the same day and both were fine, so they don't seem to need a lot of notice, but they won't be around if they don't have any bookings (and might not have enough supplies if you pop by and join a group that's made a booking), so avoid disappointment and take the moment to text/call before you go.
Bonus: we totally ended up tacking on a Boracay daytrip as a side-trip, "since we were in the area." From the reviews we read, most people do it the other way - stay on Boracay and do a daytrip to get away from the beach and crowds. If you're doing it from Boracay, just hop on any ferry back to Caticlan and get a trike there for your 10am or 2pm booking. The trike drivers all know the way and it shouldn't take more than about an hour total from the port on Boracay, depending on the ferry you choose. No need to fall for any of the 'all inclusive' package scams that overcharge. Either arrange for the trike driver to come back and get you in about 2hours or take the lovely walk down to the main road and flag the next one going your wayWritten 2 November 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - ekims parkerManila, Philippines20 contributionsif you are in boracay check the island hopping offered by the locals make sure to include Crystal Cove Island in the itinerary ... island hopping rate normally between 600 to 800 pesos per pax which includes buffet lunch

More popular for kite-surfers. I don't kite surf but it's nice to just sit by the shore and watch the kites gliding in the air. Very breezy. Chill atmosphere. Friendly dogs roaming.Written 12 March 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Tricia AGold Coast, Australia52 contributionsTook a boat ride to Crocodile Island, water was rough at this time of the year since a storm just passed by a few days ago. Went snorkelling nearby, fed the fishes with bread but did not stay long because of the white tips in the ocean. Best time will be in summer March to May.Written 31 December 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
