Stunning views available to all! Can easily spend a couple of hours wandering around, however the specific attractions were quite expensive so we didn't go into them (so can't comment on value, despite them having raving reviews!). The gardens themselves are well kept and there are plenty of food/drink outlets and a souvenir shop.

Not only is it a great place to relax and take in the scenery, but the educational programs and diverse plant life make it a great learning experience as well. From the sprawling lawns to the captivating sculptures, you'll be in awe of the beauty of this garden paradise.

The Botanical gardens are stunning. Especially the orchid gardens. Make sure you visit the cold house and the ginger garden.

Singapore Zoo is a wild and wonderful place to explore! The Reptile Garden is a must-see, and the Butterfly Garden is a delightful surprise. With so much to see and do, you'll never be bored! Highly recommended for a fun and memorable day out.

There is so much to see around this freshwater reservoir. Go for a night cruise to see the light show. Wander around the foreshore and check out the shops and restaurants.

You cannot come to Singapore and not get on the Flyer.
It’s the only way to see the enormity of the city and the port.
It’s 40SUSD per adult which includes a walkthrough history of Singapore and the actual turn on the Flyer.
    The ride lasts 30 minutes.
Set behind the F1 pit lane.

This is another "must see and visit" experience.
The fantasy starts on entry and gets better as you go up. The Sky Deck is the ultimate.
We were evacuated from the sky deck a while after getting there and got a full refund as we couldn't visit another time.

A great place to visit in the evening. Go to the Hawkers Market for local food then walk it off by checking out all the shops that are ablaze with lights. Some great bargains to be had. Access is easy via the MRT. Get off at Chinatown MRT Station.

The shopping street of singapore. You find everything from luxury brands and malls to street brands. Also many restaurants and cafes and services. A few more hotels have sprouted out just in the past year - COMO, Pullman etc. Most parts are linked with underground walkways and the MRT if you need to avoid the heat

My husband and I took a tour of the central business district in Singapore. At the end of the tour, we ended up in Merlion Park with the iconic statue of the Merlion, a mythical half-lion, half fish. The Merlion’s fish-half symbolizes Singapore’s origins as a fishing village, known as Temasek. The head of the statue represents the city’s original name of Singapura. The statue currently stands at 8.6 meters tall in front of the Fullerton Hotel and overlooks Marina Bay, it’s home since 2002.
As tourists, we naturally had to take photos in front of the Merlion statue. It’s a lot bigger than you’d think. There is a mini one in the park that you can also take photos of. The park is free to everyone and it is a busy hubbub of activity during the late afternoon and evening. We took a bus to and from the business district that day and found the park easily accessible.

It is worth a detour here if you plan to visit Singapore's Chinatown area. You can combine it with visiting Sri Mariamman Temple-- it is only about a 3 block walk. Early morning may be better time as there is less people and it is not that hot yet. Stop and take a moment to look at the intricate details of the five floors from the front before entering. Make sure that you wear clothing to cover up to your knees and shoulders; although, I did notice that they were passing out shawls to cover up to those that came unprepared.
Entering the temple, you will see the monks chanting. The intensity and repetition of their lines are pretty incredible. You need to just stop there for a few minutes and listen to the sounds. On the walls on the right side are engraved miniature Buddha . On the sides are miniature gold buddha statues displayed.
There is a bathroom as you leave the Main Temple on the right side. The sacred Buddha tooth relic is supposed to held in a glass panel on the 3rd or 4th floor but there was not access up there on the day we visited.
Either way, it was worth a stop here to admire this unique architecture and deep vermillon red buddhist temple in Singapore's Chinatown.

If you visit during night time, it gives more pleasure in watching all the colorful bridges, buildings and stores. Waterfront promenade is an amazing trip, looking at the lights reflected in a river. Watching many happy faces walking here and there, laughing, smiling, talking or running.
