- Face_The_ElementsEdmonton, Canada265 contributionsThis natural area is nice to walk. You’re under the canopy of trees for the majority of the hike so bring bug spray. Otherwise, to get to the look out, you need to hike up quite a few stairs to get to the first view point. Our day was hazy so the crater wasn’t clear but we could still see it. It’s not a long trek but bring good shoes and some water.Written 29 April 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Kayl_D738 contributionsStopped here while on a tour and it is a beautiful church. Full of history and information. Definitely worth a visit.Written 5 June 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Face_The_ElementsEdmonton, Canada265 contributionsThe archeological park wasn’t hard to get to but our GPS took us off roading just prior to arrival. So be careful! We arrived as soon as it opened and there wasn’t anyone there. They didn’t have any English speaking tour guides so we went without. The museum has many interesting artifacts and stories about the locals in the area. There were some well preserved pieces to see and when you continue to the ruins, you can see the dig site and how it’s also still intact. Very interesting place to visit, especially if you like history.Written 29 April 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - The World is My OysterOrlando, FL19,529 contributionsThis was definitely the spot to be at night, as there were so many restaurants and bars everywhere. The atmosphere was very cool, and it felt safe all around.Written 4 December 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - ThaliaSan Antonio, TX2 contributionsSuch a great garden! It also has a nursery where you can purchase plants.
It is in the middle of an industrial park with tight parking. I would advise getting there before 1pm to avoid not finding parking.Written 10 July 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. This lake is impressive! Getting here is an adventure, it's almost a secret escape that locals know about and it's a privilege to see it.
To get here, I don't even know we got to visit because we had a local private driver. It's a way down, going through narrow and muddy terrain, we had the car go through a couple shallow rivers and saw cows along the way. The driver must be knowledgeable!
We saw the lake on a warm and rainy day. And it was still pretty! Imagine a sunny day! The lake is warm and there were people swimming even though it was pouring! We rented a boat that seats 10 for 30 min for 15 dollars total.the boat driver was so sweet and took us around the lake describing things along the way. There's an island on the lake and they'll take you there if you want.
To get a boat, just go into any of the little stores and restaurants and ask about the boats that's what we did. The people are lovely, there's yummy restaurants serving hot chicken stews and pupusas of course.
Beautiful experience! I wish I knew more on how to get here, but I'm sure there's more practical directions online since there's rentals along the lake.
If you can squeeze it in, it's a whole day trip! Definitely go!Written 3 September 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Sun on the roadWashington DC, DC27 contributionsIt is a good place to run or take a walk offering you with various paths to wander around. It is a well-maintained tranquil place surrounded with trees and greens to escape from the city.Written 1 February 2016This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - The World is My OysterOrlando, FL19,529 contributionsThis definitely got my attention, as this is all about the 12 year Civil War that decimated this small country nation. The monument is several large plaques that have everyones name who was killed or die throughout these suffering times. Reminded me a bit of the 9/11 memorial in NYC.Written 4 December 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- The World is My OysterOrlando, FL19,529 contributionsI had a great time staring at the entire city from this beautiful vintage point. - TusharCSingh1 contributionWe had a great tour of Ruta de las Flores with Eduardo! He is an extremely friendly, informative and fun tour guide.
Eduardo took us to a number of different towns and it was so nice seeing the connections he has with the lovely local people. It made the tour feel very personal and special. We learnt so much from Eduardo- thankyou so much!Written 26 May 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.

I visited three countries, El Salvador, Honduras, and Nicaragua, through EC Tours and had an excellent experience. The staff and president of the company is a profesional team with high standards for service and customer satisfaction for the traveler to take the best experience of his/her travels.
The tours in El Salvador were fun and informative, just like I expected them.
The guides (Jennifer and Carlos) were very professional and very knowledgeable about the country and sites.
I visited Copan, Honduras through Guatemala with Carlos. It was a great experience going through this highway.
Copan’s ruins are highly recommended to apréciate another phase of the Mayan culture, different from any other Mayan cities. Copan is a magical town, full of tradition and with kind, hospitable people. The food in Copan is excellent, just like in all Central America, simply delicious!
After my return to San Salvador, I departed the following day with Edwin and Katia to Nicaragua. They were very informative and had good conversations along the way. After a long but pleasant journey we arrived at La Union, El Salvador (where El Salvador, Honduras, and Nicaragua meet at Bahia de Fonseca) and visited relaxing beaches and enjoyed delicious seafood.
The next day we left La Unión to the city of Leon, Nicaragua where we met with Yesenia. Yesenia gave me a city tour and showed me some of the most important sights and monuments of the city. Leon is a beautiful colonial city. She is a very experienced and knowledgeable guide on Nicaragua. Excellent guide. Volcanos and city night life are highly recommended.
I could write much, much more about the experiences that I had traveling with EC Tours but I would probably take some of the excitement from the traveler to discover on his/her own.
Overall, I highly recommend ECTours for any traveler. The traveler will have a great, safe experience.

Prices are very affordable, the mixologists are international grade. The place is clean, spacious, comfortable and free of smoke.
The stage its awesome, gives bit a nostalgia for those acquainted with other Irish pubs and small theaters where great rock bands used to play in the 80's. If your visiting San Salvador and want to go out, sing your lungs out with your friends while having some good food and drinks, Republik should be included in your list of destinations.Written 27 March 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. I ended up using them many times during my stay in El Salvador. They were very reliable, always on time, and most important, I felt very safe with them.
My driver was Josue Claudio- great driver and guide.Written 11 January 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. If you want to have fun with your friends, this is a nice option, not that expensive as it's around $18 per hour, and $1.5 or $2 to rent the shoes, which by the way are also old, so check them before using them, if they are in bad shape, ask for another pair.
The bowling floor is in good condition, so the whole Bowling experience is ok. They have a system that every 30 mins, they turn off the lights and everything glows in the dark!Written 19 May 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
