Great guides for an amazing adventure. No matter how physically fit you are, the guides ensured no one was left behind and everyone did it at their own pace. Henry, Edwin and Anderson all three were there next to you during the entire trek and prepared amazing warm meals on the top with great views. Would recommend this to anyone visiting Antigua and to do it with Henry, Edwin and Anderson as guides.

Great family adventure with 2 teens! Friendly, knowledgeable guide who lives locally and cares about his region. Highly recommend Gio. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. Booking through TripAdvisor was easy. We will be looking for more experiences like this!

I took the ATV tour to the coffee plantation and I have to say it was such a unique and exciting experience. Admittedly, I didn't realize how fast the ATV's went so it was a little scarier than I anticipated but was able to keep up with the group (that was half my age). Very professionally run, super nice staff and informative guide (sorry I can't recall his name....Jeremy??) The coffee plantation was beautiful and it was a great afternoon! Definitely recommend.

Darrell was my tour guide him and he was amazing. He let me know the agenda, how long we were going to be at a spot, how long things would take, and when they were bathroom breaks. He answered all my questions and went out of his way to show me interesting things along a ride

You definitely should book with this company. We had a wonderful afternoon/evening touring Antigua. Our amazing & friendly guide, Gio took us to several lookout points and to Hobbitengo - which was a destination unto itself. We ended the evening with a lovely meal at a look out point. I travel a lot and take a lot of tours. This one goes in the books as one of the very best experiences.

We found many places in Antigua a bit overwhelming for young children, but Hobbitenango held our 6 years old and 11 years old attention perfectly. It is easy to catch an Uber or taxi for the 15-20 minute ride from Antigua. The activities are fun and the scenery is incredible. I recommend about 3 hours for this outing.

Def one of the highlights of our trip. At first I was worried that there would be nothing to see or it would be suboptimal esp compared to the Acatenango hike, but I actually thought it was a better experience for someone who doesn't want to camp out overnight on the Acatenango hike. It was a short trip, just 8am-2pm. Very cool to hike an active volcano. The view of Fuego and Acatenango was amazing.

Everything … the nature, the people, the culture, the simplicity of everything around me. Pacaya volcano was the cherry 🍒 in the top of the cake !!!

We went on a tour with the guide Uriel(the best). It was an excellent tour, the guide was patient and nice, took pictures of us and forwarded the photos and videos. Good experience recommend to do.

This tour was great, and our tour guide Esmé was amazing! She was full of fun facts and very knowledgeable about Antigua, Guatemalan history, and the volcanoes. We took about an hour and a half long shuttle to the base of the volcano, then it was another hour and a half long hike up to the “top” (you’re not going to look down a crater anywhere and see actual lava). You can also ride a horse up for 150 quetzals (and back down for another 150 quetzals), which one person in our party did for part of the way up. He did end up getting ahead of us for much of the hike since the horses are led by the horse’s owner, but the hike itself isn’t too terrible—it’s a pretty steady incline on a dirt path with some nice views. But the highlight is really when you hit the dried lava, which you can walk along, make s’mores in one of the steam-producing craters, and even buy pizza from a guy who set up shop next to a larger crater (not an official part of the tour). The pizza’s 50 USD, but is one of the highlights of our trip (also safe to eat in our experience for any non-locals). The tour also provides a nice lunch with chicken, beans, guacamole, etc. too. We made it back to Antigua around 3 pm, so had plenty of time in the afternoon to hang around the city.

Great experience. I recommend it to anyone who is an adrenaline junkie. Guide Fernando is one of the best tour guides I have ever met. There were not a few of them

I looked up the information online and then booked with Tami in the store. She was incredibly helpful and though my Spanish is quickly improving, she was kind enough to use English to ensure that I fully understood the trip. I did the Pacaya Volcano Sunset Tour with Diego! It was wonderful. It was a life goal of mine to be on a volcano and this experience was outstanding! I'm an avid long-distance runner and let me say, this hike is challenging. Give or take, it's about 2 miles each way. When we arrived we hooked up with a guia from the volcano. It was nice having two guides to talk to and ask questions of. I was also really lucky, it was only me and only two other hikers. (Loved getting money back from the tiered pricing.) I know it doesn't sound like much but there aren't really switchbacks. You are able to take breaks along the way. Near the top there is a store, we paused there before going into the lava field. The lava fields were more challenging to walk on. Watch your ankles. In alignment with other reviews I've read, I 100% agree that roasting marshmallows over a heat vent has to be one of the coolest (hottest lol) things I've ever done! After "playing" in the lava field for a bit, the volcano guide took us up another 400 feet and there's no other way for me to describe it than saying it was like walking through volcanic sand. Coming down the "front" was very steep and the stepping/sliding motion was a lot of fun. (Wear tall socks and gaiters!) We then stopped for dinner. Watch your food, the random dogs may try to steal it :-) We then hiked down, returned to the car, and were dropped off back at the store!!! In total, my Garmin had us just under 4 miles total with an elevation gain of 1,417 feet. For those unfamiliar with this part of Guatemala, please remember you are starting at an elevation of 6,000ft.

The walking tour was a must for visiting Antigua! I had much more appreciation for the things I saw after learning about the history. Carlos was my guide and he was very knowledgeable and friendly! He answered any questions I had and made excellent recommendations for places to eat, drink, coffee, etc. I was very comfortable with him and in the city in general, even being a solo female traveler. We finished the tour over coffee and a chess game. Highly recommend!

Mirco and Luiz were amazing. They were helpful during the tour, but they also gave me other travel tips throughout the city! I would highly recommend them again!

Very good experience! Highly recommend the horses unless you are a frequent hiker in great shape. The guys at the bottom for horses tried to double charge us so we had to walk down which kinda sucked (nothing to do with this tour). Guide who walked with us up the volcano was the BEST! I wore the worst running shoes with no grip and almost plunged to my death a few times LOL. He held my hand the ENTIRE TIME! We walked back slowly and talked the whole entire time, he didn’t even mind that the group was way ahead. Thank you so much to the guide!!! As for the hotsprings, they were very relaxing. Unfortunately I think they forgot about us at the hotsprings and we were there for like 4hrs and it was pretty late by the time we got back, like 7pm. For everyone saying it’s not actual lava, no it’s not because it erupted so long ago. But it’s still crazy to roast marshmallows from a volcano!
