If you use public transfer to get to it and get off at Burj Khalifa/Dubai Mall metro stop you should be aware that the station is about 10-15 walk away from the actual Mall itself but the walk way is under cover and air conditioned.

We spent several hours there but my wife and daughters didn't think we had time to do it justice. There is a whole floor of eateries and the shops go from the expected "very high end very expensive" to H&M. It contains a massive aquarium which has a huge transparent wall you can look into and there is the free Fountain Show from about 6:30 in the evening so you might want to go in the afternoon.

I suppose there is slight surreal/excess feel to the place but you should go and see it.

I just purchased the greed perfume through online.. and Reham Mustafa was the one assisting me through out of all my question. And very accommodating, she ensure that all my question has been answer in correct. She even sent a follow up if everything is fine. This is an extra mile even i dont meet the person still she deliver the perfect customer service at all. I never experience like this in other digital whatsup assistance. Thank you Reham Mustafa hope to see u in person.

Sadly we forgot to check the opening time and arrived about 9:20. If you’re getting public transport, get the Tram to the end (Al Sufouh) and then get any of the buses that go along the main road, before getting off at the Burg Al Arab for the customary photo opportunity.
The Souk was open, as were some of the stalls/shops. It has the air of queuing for an Indiana Jones ride at a Theme Park. It was kind of a win-win, as you got to appreciate the layout and design without being overly hassled by the proprietors and without having to spend excessively.
Would recommend if you have 90 mins to spare.

Nice place for shopping without being too big. Really nice for kids with lot of playgrounds . After many years in Dubai, still our favorite mall.

Quite a nice area with lots of restaurants, although there wasn't a right lot going on (probably because it was too hot.)

This mall is close to my house so I frequent it along as its easier to park here, it has IKEA so is always practical when I'm looking at things for the house and it has the main shops and great selection of restaurants to choose from. I recently visited an art installation there too from a Japanese designer which is on display till the end of the month!

Awesome market, eye opening and a real experience.
If you hate haggling or being hawked then you may have problems.
But suck up the atmosphere and haggle in the back rooms and you will be pleasantly surprised. Great copies available

Very big mall, with all the luxury brands on earth. Expensive too. But the music fountain and the sight of Burj Khalifa from the bay area is awesome. Also souk al bahar is a nice small mall with a great food court, timeout.

Meena bazar in Al Fahidi feels a bit like India or Pakistan. It is not a bazar in the classical sense of the word, but rather a cluster of small shops and restaurants in a labyrint of alleys and streets. Butchers, tailors, 5 dirham hairdressers, laundry places and groceries, very many small low-budget restaurants mostly offering Indian and Paistani food.

Beware of shopkeepers selling jewelry, traditional clothes, perfumes and spices who are experienced in dealing with ignorant tourists. Of course there are honest men among them, but bargaining without knowing real Dubai prices always ends in being overcharged or ripped of.

I love going to Mercato. It’s a traditional mall but with really cute design and architecture. One of my favourite things about it is it is very chill and not overwhelming. It might be on the smaller side for Dubai but there’s still a good variety of stores and cafes. There’s usually enough parking underground but there’s free overflow parking outside as well.

Good mall for budget shopping at Dubai. Gold Souk is also in vicinity and could be clubbed for visiting the same day. Very polite staff and helpful security staff. Taxi drops right at the gate. Unlike Dubai mall, its not huge, so one can shop without getting dead tired. A must visit place.

Nice area near Raffles Dubai, with a decent mall, and some good eateries. Ate at the original Asha's restaurant, with really good food. The mall is relatively small, but with some unique attributes.
