- Luvtotrvl96Seven Mile, OH167 contributionsA great shipwreck tour! We had a total of 5 other passengers with both of us on a chilly morning with smooth sailing during the 2 hour tour. We saw multiple shipwrecks including a nearly intact barge! The viewing from the main deck was impressive but being able to see wreckage from the upper deck was fantastic!! The crew showed us where to search and the boat hovered to insure we all saw everything possible at each site.
We definitely recommend the tour!Written 21 June 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The gift shop is reasonably priced. I got a nice lined rain coat, and my husband got a hoodie.Written 2 September 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - AdicaGrand Blanc, MI30 contributionsThis is a great park! It has excellent trails that weren't too difficult for our 5 year old. There were beautiful views at every turn. The trails intersect in such a way that you can make your hike as long or as short as you like. There are a few fishing platforms as well. There is also the Alpena Pedal and Paddle post near the parking lot where you can rent canoes, kayaks, and bikes. Next time, we want to try kayaking in the calm waters along the island.Written 2 September 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Ryan BEast Lansing, MI6 contributionsReally interesting place. Fascinating history and great views. Lovely easy hike to sinkhole. Sinkhole is a nice destination but not spectacular, and other trails away from the main parking lot can be overgrown.Written 18 July 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Michael H3 contributionsSaw the outside tables and stopped by. We are glad we did. We did a wine sampling and a nice talk with the owner. After the sampling we enjoyed a nice glass of red and a small bite from the restaurant next door, which they partner with. Great way to spend the afternoon. We also bought two bottles of our favourite wine to take home. We will definitely be back on our next visit.Written 14 November 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- AdicaGrand Blanc, MI30 contributionsThis park has two parts. The southern part is old with a very old playground. This is where the farmers market is on Saturdays. The northern side has a pavilion, a newer (safer) and larger playground, splash pad, and bathrooms. Both have beach access. The trail that connects the two sections was under construction when we were there. This is a nice park. My daughter enjoyed the splash pad and the beach. The beach had some beach toys available, which was really nice.Written 2 September 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Ed SShepherd, MI94 contributionsOverall it was fun, however it’s very clear the owners are not putting any money into upkeep. The putt putt course was kinda lame go karts were fun. Bumper cars were awesome the fastest cars ever. Most games were not even turned on and there was not enough employees to run all attractions. Batting cages in bad shape. Prices are fair.Written 17 August 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- WCFGAlpena, MI18 contributionsHave walked and ridden this path hundreds of times. It skirts around the downtown area(but you have easy access to downtown). Nature- I have seen deer near the trail-turtles-swans-geese-ducks. Ride along the Thunder Bay River.Written 14 August 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Steve JakubcinAlpena, MI90 contributionsA true gem of Alpena. It is one of the places in Alpena where culture, community and the arts collide in our city. The ONLY professional, year-round, non-profit theatre located within 180 miles, Thunder Bay Theatre, continues to become one of the pre-eminent destinations and experiences in all of Northern Michigan.Written 5 April 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - marybT5775QNBattle Creek, MI235 contributionsAbsolutely loved the Farmers’ Market. We stopped on a Saturday and were pleased with the vendors that were there....probably between 15-20. The fresh veggies we purchased were reasonably priced and all of the vendors were friendly and helpful. We also purchased masks and cinnamon rolls. Yummy! We decided to go back the following Wednesday. We were disappointed that only 6 vendors were there. One of the vendors said that Saturday is the big day and that some of the other vendors go to Oscoda’s Farmers Market on Wednesday. As luck would have it, the cinnamon roll person was there and we were able to purchase a whole plate of cinnamon rolls. Also we were able to get more fresh green beans! And the blueberry crumble pie my daughter’s boyfriend bought was out of this world! Definitely worth a stop to the Farmer’s Market if you happen to be in Alpena on one of the days they are open.Written 11 August 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - biz_travlr007Detroit metro123 contributionsOk, it's not really hidden because it's the largest building downtown, but make time to stop in and browse! This is a wonderful shop with local artists and historic charm.Written 31 August 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Leaan C4 contributionsBeautiful park with free music on Sat evenings. Great bands! We just saw Sonic Honey and hope they come back. Lots of prizes given during the Band's intermission and very family friendly.Written 25 June 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
