The snorkelling was amazing, and again the staff were attentive and thoughtful. An experience to remember!
Don’t expect any beach stops to chill as it’s more site seeing about the island.
Pick up and return to hotel was super smooth.

The location was quite far from our villa but our guide, Wija, made sure we were comfortable during the ride there and back and answered all questions we had. Once there, he made sure we were safely boarded on the boat and promptly served at the café afterwards. The ATV was amazing and the team that was helping us were very professional and entertaining. Our guide Wayan was very knowledgeable and professional. He entertained us by telling stories and explaining things we see on the drive. We hired a boat for our family which meant we could set our own agenda for the day.
Snorkelling was great on the reefs and water clarity awesome.

Had to brave the waves to get on board a moving boat which is somewhat risky. Ferry was also cramp. However, these are not issues under the control of the tour agent. Saw construction activity for the piers but I think they will take 2 years to be ready.
There was a last minute change in pick up timing from 630am to 930am. The tour agent called the night before and explained that conditions will be better for afternoon snorkelling which was sound advice because (1) way less crowded in the afternoon and (2) more importantly, we listened to the agent's advice on the tides and conditions for snorkelling. Manta will only come when the sea conditions are ideal. We had the amazing opportunity to swim very close to around 10 Mantas at Manta Bay.
Private snorkelling and the boat reserved for my family was good. The local guide and the boatman we had at Nusa Penida were very good and friendly.
The only qualm I had was the driver who picked us up from the pier for the return back to our hotel. He was coughing consistently and during this post pandemic period, I guess everyone will not appreciate being stuck in a car with a driver coughing throughout the whole 45 mins ride.
