- Shawn Y2KPasadena, MD63 contributionsGreat views and photo ops and nice place to see sun rise or set. Sight is free to visit and walk around. Recommend to wear walking shoes and bring camera and waterWritten 3 July 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Anand1351Singapore, Singapore2,576 contributionsNo doubt it’s the best beach in Phuket among other good ones.
No street vendor allowed here and you have peaceful time.
Quite beautiful and relaxing.
A must visit beach.
Don’t forget to visit the Nai harn temple and public park ( lake) just behind it.
Another must visit place in Phuket.Written 1 July 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - rinatplSingapore, Singapore21 contributionsBeautiful small beach. Great for snorkeling. Saw quite a lot of coral fish despite being not too far away from the shore. A peaceful beach which is not too crowded. Good place to relax.Written 21 June 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- 2014NeelDubai, United Arab Emirates59 contributionsWe visited Rawai Beach in Phuket for a seafood experience. It was very exciting to buy fresh seafood and have them prepared right away. The people are very friendly and excited to meet tourists now that things are opening up slowly in Phuket. Do negotiate the prices and try their different preparations. Very enjoyable experience overall!Written 28 July 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- pattjx2222Bangkok, Thailand49 contributionsWe went as a group of friends (4 ppl) for a one day trip by sailing catamaran. The whole trip was worth the money. Although not much activity to do on the island, but if you like a very private beach with nice blue sea and white sand. You'd love this island as much as we do!Written 16 March 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Simon D48 contributionsVisited this seafood market for the second time. First time was 8 years ago! Still great with fresh seafood stalls on one side of the dirt road with restaurants on the other side that will cook your food any way you want. The restaurants charge 100bht per kg of seafood you bring in and a 50bht per dish. Other side dishes like rice and veg paid as normal Thai prices. Highly recommend. Our favorite dish was crispy fried white snapper with garlic and pepper. Amazing :)Written 5 June 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Kaushik GMumbai, India4,068 contributionsWe had visited the Phuket Seashells museum located close to Rawai Beach during our holidays in Phuket. Entrance tickets are priced at 200 baht per person. They have a very big collection of a wide variety of sea shells from oceans across the globe. Some of the shells were as big as coconut while some others were tinier than a walnut. There were shells in all types of colors from milky white, yellow, orange, lavender etc. It was a great experience visiting this place.Written 2 January 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- rinatplSingapore, Singapore21 contributionsGreat place for snorkeling. A very small stretch of beach. However, the waves are rather strong. The beach is rocky and the sand is rough. There was quite a lot of jellyfish when we were there.Written 21 June 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Alex M1 contributionWhen we came to Thailand in March this year, we went looking for Kampon’s studio in Kata Beach as we’d bought a canvas years ago from him and loved it. We were gutted he wasn’t there anymore so my husband went looking for other places to buy some art/canvases. We found Kampon’s new studio (not knowing it was the same guy we loved from years ago) where he is now and bought 2 canvases from him. He’s so talented and they are such a lovely couple. We only found out through conversation that he was the artist we’d bought from last time. It was such a lovely coincidence!
On returning to England we thought we’d love another canvas for our lounge. We sent a pic of a style we’d like and it was such an easy process getting him to make it. He did it quickly and it was sent to us with no hassle. We are so happy with it! It’s better than the example we gave. We love it! We’ll definitely get something else from him in the future and can’t wait to return to their gallery on our next visit. Thank you Kampon!Written 29 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - Lang WBeijing, China12 contributionsLocated inside the Phuket Shooting Range, this is good place to spend a couple of hours with the kids. There are many snakes and a knowledgeable if occasionally unintelligible gude to walk you through the python, cobra, and mangrove snake enclosures in addition to one quite sad looking mongoose labeled as a racoon and a fair number of vibrant and very loud parrots. After admiring the snakes you are then invited to sit in bleacher seats around a small pit where a handler will exhibit, handle, and eventually kiss King cobras and mangrove snakes, inviting anyone how dares to stroke them at the end. While I have my suspicions about the snakes being defanged, my 7 year olds were thrilled and terrified and are still talking about the show today.Written 4 February 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- petre4 contributionsBasic rooms , but price is excellent, lovely views [at high tide]. Very nice ambience with a real Thailand feel, compared to so much "concrete and tile" at so many other places. Excellent quality [not typical] Live music on Friday nights by a talented musician that we enjoyed so much we visited again two more times even though we were no longer staying there.Written 12 January 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Kaushik GMumbai, India4,068 contributionsDuring our sightseeing in Phuket we had visited the Nai Harn Beach and this beautiful temple dedicated to Lord Buddha is located at a walking distance from the beach just beside the parking area. The temple complex is beautiful and the main temple has a beautiful pagoda style architecture with intricate golden colored sculptures on the temple tower. The ambiance was very peaceful.Written 31 December 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Troy H174 contributionsThis is a great little beach. The water is safe for all ages and is nice and quiet for Phuket beaches. There is fruit sellers on the beach and its a good spot just to chilland unwind.Written 7 March 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Hanne DPhuket, Thailand86 contributionsWe went there by longtail boat from Rawai beach, only a few minutes to get there (7?), approx 1500 baht roundtrip per boat. We were two adults and three kids, ask for life jackets. This is the perfect little dream Island, and so close to Phuket! Turquoise waters, palm trees and a little bohemian, laidback Restaurant that serves cold drinks and nice food. There were not many people visiting while we were there, so it was a quiet, little spot. We overviewed a wedding while we were there and snorkelled and saw a few colourful fishes. You can hire sun chairs.Written 4 March 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
